Button Toy

Button Toy

You'll Need

scrap material,large buttons,thread,needle
In an effort to practice sewing button holes on my new sewing machine, and to help my identical twin 2 1/2 year old daughters to learn how to operate buttons, I made them a "Button Toy". To do this, simply sew one (or many) buttons on a piece of scrap material and make appropriate sized button holes. To personalize, I used different color markers and wrote their names in block letters on the material. They love it! And are so proud of themselves as they develop this new skill!
