Blow out the egg to hollow by piercing two holes - one on top of the egg and one slightly larger on the bottom.
Fill with potting soil and place seeds in soil. Water lightly. It should take about 10 days to grow.
(You can use grass plugs for instant gratification).
Now you have grass hair! Let your child paint on the egg's face.
