Fun Apron
  • adult sized Craft apron
  • fabric paints
  • children!
  • Get a craft apron at your local craft store. Paint the child's hands (one at a time) with craft paint. Put the hand prints on the apron anywhere you like. More than one set looks great if you have two or more kids in the family or group. Then write with permanent marker or fabric paint, "Helping hands for _______(Mom, Dad, Grandma...)" or "_____'s helping hands". If you are feeling courageous, you can get fun fabric and cut out items and attach them using Heat-n-bond (easy!!) and spruce up the apron. Outline each item with fabric paint for long lasting results! I did these last year for father's day, I used fabric with burgers, hot dogs, corn-on-the-cob, mustard, watermelon, etc. They were a huge hit!!
