paper kite
Cut construction paper into a diamond shape. Cut the scraps into small bowtie shapes for the kite's tail. Glue the straws in a lowercase "t" shape onto the kite. instead of gluing one over the top of the other, cut one of them in half so that they can both lay flat. Squeeze some glue into the end of the straw that is at the bottom of the kite. Insert the end of a piece of yarn into the straw and let it all dry.

When dry, attach the bows to the yarn tail and let dry.
