Shamrock Tree
A shamrock tree makes a pretty centerpiece for the family dinner table on St. Patrick's Day for a party. The most important items that you will need to make a shamrock tree is a nicely formed small branch with many twigs on it. Secure the branch in a paper cup or other container by stricking it in a large lump of clay. Cut out lots of shamrocks from green construction paper. Punch a hole through the top of each shamrock. String a short piece of black thread through the hold and tie the ring to a twig. Arrange the shamrocks on the tree in an interesting manner. If you wish, the container holding the tree can be covered with construction paper or crepe paper and tied with a bow.
