Spring Hats
  • Paper dixie bowls
  • colored saran wrap
  • wide ribbon
  • colored glue
  • Place out scraps of different colored saran wrap. Allow the children to glue the scraps onto the bottom side of the bowl. (some will ball up the saran wrap and some will spread it out over the bowl) Cut a small hole or slit on each side of the bowl near the lip. Thread the wide ribbon (one on each side) through the hole and knot so the ribbon will stay. When dry place on head and tie!! (You can also use long strips of the colored saran wrap twisted up for the ties!) Optional: You can also use colored easter grass and/or tissue paper to add to your hats! This colorful hat can also double as an Easter basket: Fill with green grass, add candy, or treats.
