Anyone having normal weather?

Just curious. Our summer temps are a bit below what they usually are (notice I'm not complaining, LOL!) and we've had a bit more rain which is also wonderful.

I know you northerners aren't happy with your low temps, so I was wondering if anyone was having normal summer weather this year.

We are, but Southern California, has the same weather almost 98% of the year.

I don't think it made it into the 60's today... 55 I think. It's been very cold but I heard on the weather today that it's suppose to start warming up by the end of the week. :) I like it being a little cooler... but not this cold. LOL It's also been a lot windier than usual.

Like Diane said, it has been very cold here - the whole summer has been out of whack. We're on day 13 of not reaching 80 and they don't think we'll reach it until Monday. I love fall weather....just not in the middle of summer. LOL!

You took the words right out of my mouth, lol. I think we've only hit 75 a few times over the summer. I heard on the news it's the coldest summer in 12 years or something like that. And the rain, lol...I could go on and on (but I won't ;) )

Our summer started late and finished early by the looks of it. The pool hasn't been used in August yet although it could have been this week. The first 2 weeks were too cold. It just doesn't feel like summer anymore. :(

it really has been some weird weather this year. But I AIN'T complaining either. Its been great to have the windows open more and keeping the place aired out more.
But we have been fairly close to normal?? here according to what weather channel ya listen too??... hmmm

I don't think we're supposed to be too far off the mark here, either, according to the news. But we've turned the cooler off at night a few times (had to turn it off because our teeth were chattering) which literally never happens in August and usually not until the beginning of October! One year we didn't turn our heater on until the end of November and that was only because I was concerned about ds2 (he was an infant at the time).

It all makes me wonder why we're having such a shift in weather patterns.
