MM! The boys have art lessons this morning at 11:00.
HH and I ;-) are going to do a few small jobs around the yard today. He's been promising me a patio for the new yard furniture for 2 months now. We're moving the kitchen back into the kitchen today too. WOOHOO. I can cook breakfast in my PJ's again.
This weekend there is an artisan festival in the pueblo. We drove by there last night and it was packed. That's where we're heading tonight.
I forgot the darn camera yesterday. The homeschoolers were great. All-Americans. The boys and I had a wonderful time and are looking forward to returning to the Coast Guard Base for our next meeting. I found a gentleman who offers tennis lessons for a reasonable amount too. Another HSM sends her daughter. I'm going to see if we can begin in September.
Hope you day is bright !
ßß!
Rained here last night and is supposed to rain off and on, so I am not sure if ds' baseball game will be cancelled or not. No big plans. Yea!!!!!!! We are going to take the kids to see Spy Kids either today or tomorrow.
Arianna...your kitchen remodel is already finished?
Hey Ann-Your kids will really like spy kids. My dd did.
Its STILL raining here. About 48 hours worth of rain :(. Here I am complaining to property mgmt about how terrible the lawn looks and now it looks like a tropical rain forest! LOL
I wanted to take dk's to the wild west amusement park, but not in this weather! I think its suppose to clear up by tomorrow. Dd has been invited to one of her friend's house. She is so excited.
You sure are high maintenance !!! ;) LOL
Have you taken your kids to the North Pole?
The North Pole is not opened yet for the year. We are goiing on op-ening day (MAy 19). We went two times last year and my kids LOVED it!! Its not every year that you can visit a really good Santa in the middle of summer. Its a beautiful place because its snuggled right into the mountains.

I think we are going to try to go when we are up there. We have nixed Durango and are going to go Salida for rafting and rock hounding and the down to Alamosa on our way home.
Well we got a little rain last night so that nixed my flower gardening for today. Overcast right now. Ds and nephew are out riding bikes. I was in the middle of a full blown kitchen scrubing, but just had to take a break and check out the news here first. Hope the skies clear for the air show tomorrow.

The weather was so cold here today. I couldn't believe it. Dh and I came home and fell asleep after the softball game. Then I went up and bought this camping set that dh has been promising me. I told him if I didn't get it today, how were we going to get it to the states. LOL!! It is really neat though. It came with a 4-5 man tent, 4 sleeping bags, a propane stove and lamp, a dinner kit for 4, a first aid kit, and some other little stuff. I just hope we get to use it someday. Now I am here checking in before I make sure the house is set for Mon. Then I hope to relax for the rest of the night. Hope everyone else has an enjoyable day.

Afternoon all! Windy and warm here....doing some laundry to hang outside! I love the smell of line dried laundry.
Kids are over at mil's place .....they spent the night, then went to yard sales with her this am. Not sure when they are coming home this afternoon.
Dh has gone over to help a friend move their deck, then home to mow the yard....and I am having some well earned peace and quiet.
Tomorrow the museum is having it's spring opening that I think we will take the kids to. Sounds like they have lots of fun activities planned.
Then Sunday evening the girls have their final spring Highland Concert.
I think this weekend is going to go by way too fast.
Hope everyone is having a great day.

It's been cold (high of 54) and rainey here today, so the weather hasn't really cooperated with all of the plans that I had for today. LOL We went to my FIL's this morning but didn't have a whole lot to do (almost done) and so we got home a lot earlier than we expected to... then we went out to eat! :licklips: Tomorrow's weather is suppose to be just as bad so I'm planning on staying home and cleaning the upstairs and downstairs bathrooms while dh installs our new garage door opener. Oldest dd is suppose to come over because she needs to use the computer/printer for a project she needs to do for her small group... so I'm looking forward to her visit again. I think I see more of her now that she's moved out than I did when she lived at home. LOL She'll be graduating from nursing school on May 16th... and were SO excited/proud for her. Can hardly wait!!!
Hope you are all having a good day!
Take care.
