Gloomy today... looks like were going to get the rain we were suppose to get yesterday.

Not a whole lot going on today. I've only got two kids today, which is nice because they play so well together. I've got to busy myself with getting the laundry done... been sitting here waiting for me to do for about two/three day's now. Keep saying I'll get to it but so far haven't done a thing. LOL

One of my neighbor's are coming over tonight so we can finish up planning our block party. I'm hoping it stay's nice enough to have one... it's been so cold lately we could almost have snow by the time we have it. LOL The leaves here are already changing and falling off the tree's. Were probably going to have to rake pretty soon. :(

Last night we went to parent meeting for golf and got the schedule. got DS' team golf bag, shirt, schedule. he is playing at least 2 days a week.
DD is going to start taking gymnastics. Went to this new place in the neighborhood right next where she does theater and it was wonderful!!! lots of hugs and praise. she did great too.
My housekeeper just called and wants to come tomorrow so today is laundry day!!! LOL

Diane, did you ever get things straightened out with the other neighbour who was not forthcoming with help/information for the block party?

Ann, sounds like your kids will be busy with their activities.

Work today and volunteer shift tonight. Sunny outside, woohoo! Still not the best weather, but I've found a compromise to what I wear now...I'm combing summer bottoms with fall tops, lol...today I have on a white long sleeve blouse with some beige capris :)

Did PT...came home ate breakfast and now have to get going to work. They asked me if I would close at one of the Daycares today...so that will be cool. I'll spend the last 1 1/2 hours of my day at the center. Then I have to come do laundry...Hopefully they don't say much about my casual clothes today!

I'm about to walk out the door. The gas station called and they need me to work this morning. I had a bunch of errands to run, but I'm going in anyway. I'll have to run the errands tomorrow. Preschool was fun yesterday. We'll see how it goes today without the parents!

Has this place ever changed!!! Thought I would pop in and say hi, see how everyone is doing. We are into our last week of summer vacation and trying to make the best of it. Hope you guys are all doing well. Off to read some posts :)

Found the water problem! It was a pipe from the well that ran through the side of the house. Didn't even know it was there until dh cut a hole in the wall to see if he could find where the water was coming in. He fixed it and is going to re-route the pipe to outside of the house so we don't have the same problem later on. Unfortunately, the office dh just finished a month or so ago will have to be re-done. He still needs to dig up the well but now we have an idea of where it is so it shouldn't take too long.
Babysitting today until 1 and then dh and I have a meeting so the kids are going to bil's. They should have fun.

HE)) no... she still walks down the street and totally ignores me. I've been working with two of the other neighbor's and have not included her in anything. IMHO she had her chance to have a part in it and she blew it. LOL It really does bother me that she treats me like this though. 8o Oh well... Thanks for asking.

Cold and gray here.. Looks like summer is over...Last week till school starts.
Going to finish up laundry today and do some cleaning.

Need to runto the store as well....Going to the Dr. on Thursday....I need to talk to him about my depression.. It seems to be coming back. I know that I should be happy that I am in my new home and everything but for some reason I just want to sit and cry all day..ANd since Depression runs in My Moms family she suggested that I do something about it soon.

AnnW- so glad to hear your dd has joined gymnastics, i hope she enjoys it has much as my dd has.

Jak - how is it going at preschool with the "old" teachers are they more welcoming to the "new" now.

Took dd for an eye appt. this morning - all is well for another year. School starts for her tomorrow :yippee:
Cuddled with my granddaughter this afternoon for awhile, and
have fitness class to lead tonight and that's my day!
Well of course I have to make supper yet too, got some fresh corn on the cob, am looking forward to that!

Rhonda, I totally understand where you are. I think my depression was at its peak about 6 years ago. I thought moving here would cheer me up....wrong. I felt worse because I wasn't acting thrilled to be here like I "should" have been. Anyhow, after trial and error I found the right medication and have been off for a few years now. I still keep a close eye on myself and tell my doctor if I notice symptoms so we can do something if it comes back. I will ignore and deny it too so this is how I keep myself in check. Good luck with your doc. appt.

Hi all. Was back to the chiropractor this morning....we'll see how I feel tomorrow. Can't get in to see my family dr. till mid September!

We are so excited....the sun is supposed to shine tomorrow! :yippee: And get this....it is supposed to be warm/hot even! Hopefully the forcast is correct....our yard looks so neglected with all this rain and crappy weather we have had.

Just waiting for dh to get home so we can sit down for supper. Leftover lasagna, so an easy cooking night for me.
