I really want to revamp my makeup. Ok-I wear it about 3 x's a month (can't help Im naturally beautiful (ok lazy) LOL). I think I would wear it more if it were more streamlined and didn't take 10 min. to put on. which professional brand do you like the best? I was thinking of Clinique. After the makeover, I could get a list of the products and buy a bulk of them on our base for cheap.

I wear Prescriptives, but just recently switched to Estee Lauder's new balancing foundation...really like it.

If you want streamlined and easy..Bobby Brown is a good line.

I take a total of 40 minutes from the minute I get in the shower to full drag.

40 minutes huh? Mine is about 20 minutes total. Sheesh when I was 21 yrs old it would be15 minutes from start to finish and i would have full makeup on and hair styled. My then boyfriend was shocked on how quickly I could get it together. Looking back,it didn't take much for a 21 year old to look good. Its this 33 yr old thing going on.. LOL

WOW! I am impressed...thought I was good with 40 minutes start to finish.

I don't use makeup very much either. I just put it on for pictures and other special occations. My mom uses Estee Lauder though. She likes it and that is what I used to borrow when I put it on.

I used to wear prescriptives too. I really liked how they "mixed" your foundation to match your skin. I wear lots of different things now. Mary Kay, Clinique and Estee Lauder.

I like Clinique...but usually buy "inexpensive" make up at regular stores! I pretty much wear a little concealer...a little foundation...mascara and sometimes a little light eye shadow. Nothing too fancy. I rarely wear lipstick...and feel funny when I do. Maybe it's something you just get used to. I know women who absolutely will not leave the house without lipstick on. Wow...they must laugh at my 'pale' lips! LOL

You'll not catch me near any ole make-up counter.
Although when I was about 3 two of my sisters 10 and 12 tricked me into letting them use me to practice their make-up techniques. I ended up with so much gunk all over me that I broke out in a rash and scratched for a week. My mother was not impressed. I don't know what she said or did to the two of them but neither one wears much if any make-up now.

LOL I remember when my younger brother had long hair and we would french braid it. Thanks for bringing back that memory. I will be sure and remind db of it on mother's day when I see him!!!!

Other than a little lipstick, I don't use it much. I've used Clinique, Mary Kay, and a couple regular department store purchases -Revlon etc. Don't really have a fav.

yes, some department stores don't carry them, but I am almost sure that they are part of MAC....not sure though....I know I can only find these products in Nordstroms or Pennies
