We get to the coliseum to see the big purple guy. Dh, ds, dd and I walk to the floor level as we know we have tickets on the floor. Hand our tickets to the usher and she escorts us to the very front row center seats. Brichard nearly passed out. He looks at me and says..."I finally get front row center seats, and it's for Barney. The next thing you know they will give us backstage passes!" LOL

DD was still not feeling the greatest but she had a wonderful time. Ds had a great time too even though he is kind of over the whole Barney thing. It was a wonderful start to dd's weeklong birthday celebration! My little baby is going to be 3!!

Front and centre for Barney; now that's exciting. Had a similar experience with at a show about that dog that leaves paw prints around and you have to guess what they are talking about. ( You'll know who I'm talking about; I'm not too into all these kids shows ) I was about 3 rows back, in the centre with ds, a couple other dads and their sons for a birthday party. No girls allowed.

My mom took ds to see Blue's Clue's last year. He was totally freaked out because all the kids were screaming and it was soooo loud. They ended up sitting in the lobby until it was over because they took another grandchild with them who was loving it.

Why do we do these things to ourselves??

I remember get front row, center seats for a concert in Branson once when ds was a baby. Had to give them up for back row seats because of the noise too.

my mom gave dd two tickets for her and I to go see Beauty and the Beast (broadway) in Toronto. No special occasion. She just got a card in the mail with the tickets that said "Thinking about my girls" dd is very excited. I'm looking forward to it too. I've only been to the theatre once, to see Le Mis'. I really enjoyed it.
Once we are closer to TO that's something I wouldn't mind doing more often.

Glad that you enjoyed yourselves. At least you got front row seats for something.
