Everyone must have had a busy weekend... not too many new posts. LOL
Back to Monday... and it looks like another very cold day. I'm just not ready for this already. Way too cold. :) Not too much going on today. I'm off this morning until 11:15 when my kindergartners come home. Dd evidently cleaned her room yesterday because the hamper's are full... so it looks like I've got some laundry to do. I've also got to get under the bed/dresser's again to dust... I can't believe how much dust accumulates under there. :grimace: :grimace:
Anyway... I hope you all have a nice day... take care.
Diane...
I have my last dc inspection today and I should have my license by Thursday if everyone is on the ball. I have another interview tomorrow night for a 4 yr old part-time. I hope that goes well. Only 10 more days at the preschool and I'm looking forward to being done there. My job announcement closes today and I was asked my the director to sit on the interviewing panel. I think I'll feel wierd sitting there asking someone questions and judging them for my job! She has asked my lead teacher to be there as well. I think it's strange she didn't ask her "click" of older employees to do it like they did when I was interviewed. Maybe she's coming around. Ever since I talked to her, she had treated me and the lead teacher a little bit differently.
Nothing exciting about my Monday. Got up early to type up some dc forms and hopefully have everything done for my inspection. I just don't have enough hours in the day to get to everything I want to do. UGH!!!
Back to work today. Had a good weekend, but nothing too exciting. Got together with a friend Sat. night, so that was good.
It was 80 degrees at 5:00 this morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
had some red wine last night so sure enough, up at 3 with hot flashes! lost my taste for white and had a glass each night at the inlaws so thought why not 2?? LOL grrrr
have to sell pumpkins today at the church from 9-12, then DD gets home early today for conferences, mine is at 3. DS has his first golf tourney tomorrow and has to be at school at 5:45 AM!!!!!!!!

Physio tonight. That's my Monday. lol
Have a nice day all :)
Good morning, been awhile since I was here hope all is well with everyone.
Feel so refreshed this morning after a very good nights sleep, had granddaughter for a "sleepover" saturday night so her parents could have a night out, was drained all day yesterday, just not used to getting up in the night anymore!
Another cold day here today, we had about 2 or 3 inches of snow on saturday and suppose to get another inch today, definately not ready for this.
Grocery shopping and gym on todays agenda

I was wondering where you were, Fern! Lucky you to have gd for a sleepover. :)
I know my turn is coming but I'm still so glad it's not me getting snow. We did see a tiny bit mixed with the rain last night but it didn't last and you had to really look for it once it was pointed out. lol
Rainy WET morning here and I love it  I am totally missing the East coast right now, I love this time of year back there, missing the people too. Oh well....Guess I am just in the Fall blues...Don't get me wrong, I don't want to move back, but I do miss my SIL's....Moving home was a choice dh and I made for us, and its funny but I hardly see my family that is out here....
I am at work, taking a breather....been extremely busy lately, its all good, but today I have to stand up for myself, and I just dislike confrontation so much, but I have a superior who thinks I am "her" personal slave, and well, I am NOT! we are a little short handed and I had agreed to help out, but this is getting outta hand...so...now one can stick up for you but you is what I tell my kids......wish me luck.
Have a great Monday all.

Had a very busy weekend. We hosted my niece's birthday party. Had 19 adults and 6 kids here. Still trying to recover from it. lol
Dd has the day off from school, and I am watching her best friend too (the one that broke her arm) since both her parents work. They are totally okay with the whole accident by the way (whew!).
Have a couple of errands to run, otherwise I plan on vegging all day.
Have a great day all!

Had a busy, crazy weekend with my family. We left on Friday at 5:30, drove almost 12 hours to Maine with dh's parents, and drove back yesterday. It was an excrutiatingly long car ride (actually 2 cars since there were 9 of us), but it was really beautiful. The leaves are just past peak up there. Renee, you're right--it is a nice time to live here. But I can't forget that all this impressive color means winter is coming. Sigh.......
I put in my notice at work. I'm torn because I really like my job and the people that I work with. But the stress is pretty intense, we got a new supervisor who wants to do everything NOW!!! (no thought for what a little change will do to everything else), and the drive is a killer. I get no time to spend home even when the weather is good, never mind the winter. So if you all will hold a good thought for me that I get a job BEFORE I lose my mind, I'd appreciate it. I don't have anything lined up, but I haven't taken much time looking either. I am taking this leap of faith. :nervous: :nervous: :nervous: Can you be truly faithful and scared at the same time??
Anyway, I may have more time for posting after the 29th. Watch out.

Evening all! It is snowing! Not too cold at least and it is supposed to turn to rain overnight...should make for interesting driving tomorrow morning!
Dh and dd are at hockey.....signed dd up for it and she is really regretting it. She is trying to talk dh into letting her quit, but he wants her to stick with it.
Ds loves it and is in there like a dirty shirt.
Guess we will see what kind of mood they are in when they get home.
:)
