Hi Renee. Morning glories are very pretty...definately not a weed. They do grow very tall though and it is usually best to have a wall or trellis to support them against.
Enjoy!
:)
maybe these arent morning glories....HUH...they are small still, have a purple flower on them, but they don't seem tall, well not yet...hey maybe I never noticed them because I mow out there more than I have lately...NO rain so now short lawn......I guess I could search the net for a picture....thanks Darlene....

Hi again. I suspect what you transferred was what we call a johnny jump up.....often also called a wild pansy. We have them growing in our bush around our house. Sounds like that may be what you have.
None the less.....enjoy!
:)
weed=flower in a place you don't want it to be. Think maybe it was a weed and you turned it back into a flower though it may take a good lawyer to convince dh.
Yeah, a Johnny Jump up...I like that....
yes Jeff, I think I will get an attorney to prove to him I want it to be a flower....LOL....

If it looks like a flower, and smells like a flower, then it must be a flower right?
By definition:
Flower: showy plant shoot that bears seeds and blossoms
Weed: unwanted plant
Therefore since the plant you found does bear blossoms and in not unwanted it is not a weed. You win. Case closed!!!
