Good morning. Ds1's birthday party today, going to play laser tag. Should be fun. We have a party room but they don't offer any food so we need to bring our own. Did it the easy way and called the pizza place next to them to deliver. I didn't have time to make a cake last night, ds was disappointed since they love my cakes. lol So, I bought a sheet cake at the grocery store, the figures for a star wars cake in the bakery section and came home to fix the cake. Took the flowers off, added the figures, with icing I made some laser beams and made it look like a boy cake. lol Ds was thrilled.
I have to pick up a friend of ds's to bring, his parents couldn't drive him. Right after ds's party I have to drop this kid off and be at another party within 45 minutes. Not an easy feat when it takes a half hour or more to get everywhere. lol The other party is at a public pool (for the little girl next door)and I'm helping the mom supervise the kids. Needless to say, my day will be full.
A little sunny here and very chilly. Frost on everything again this morning.
Have a good day all :)

Mornin' Mel. Sounds like you are going to have a busy party day today. Enjoy!

A little bit of frost here, but not too much. It's actually beautiful and sunny from the inside of the house :)

Have to go buy some balloons and party decor with my mom this morning. She is making a surprise lunch for his birthday (which is really on Monday) tomorrow. It's been hard keeping it a secret when he is always around

Hockey later on and tonight dh and I might go see the new Ray Charles movie...anyone see it yet?

Enjoy your Saturday everyone

Morning all. Quiet here....I am the only one up. Going to do some light housecleaning and then off to a craft sale. Hoping to pick up a few more gifts for christmas.

I want to go to the auction sale later as well, but we are waiting for a call from my mom to unload hay for the horses. She isn't sure when the man is delivering it other than "sometime today".

Our weather has been unseasonably warm, it is supposed to get up to +8 today.

Mil is away this weekend, so dd and ds will be home tonight. Thinking we will rent some movies and have a fun evening. Best get to the video rental place early so I can pick what we want and not just what is leftover!

Hairspray was just fantastic!! See it if you get a chance.
DS is going on a church retreat this weekend, he seems to be over whatever he had yesterday (slept all day). My brother is in town so we are going to my dad's for dinner.

My parents left today so now we are trying to get back into some sort of normal routine. The kids got hamsters today. They are SO excited. I hope the live a while. I had one when I was a kid and it lived for 2 years.

Sounds like you had a busy day Mel. I hope you made it through your busy day. Happy birthday to your ds!
