View Full Version : I'm almost there!
Wish I could say that I was completely finished like Ann, but I am almost there. Got shopping finished Saturday with the exception of 2 nephews and I think I'm just going to end up getting them gift cards to auto zone.
Got my wrapping paper stamped this morning and the gifts all wrapped this afternoon.
Little Braeden was sick yesterday so we both stayed home from church and ended up making gingerbread cookies. I set up the camcorder in the kitchen and captured the whole thing. He loved it!. Can't say that anyone will be sharing in the cookies. Don't want to spread germs. (And he added plenty to the mix) We were going for the "cookie making experience".
Only thing left is to go shopping for the dinner menu items. Will do that tomorrow, bake and clean on Wed., rest some Thurs. and put out any fires, then the whole fam damily comes over for dinner Friday.

The cookie making sounds great. Glad you get to have special time with him.
My shopping is almost done too. Wasn't sure if I was going to get anything for my 20yr old nephew....but he still lives at home....with 3 little brothers who are all getting something...think I have decided it would no fun for him if he didn't get anything, so going tomorrow to get him a CT gift card.
:)
Well, I don't decorate my own wrapping paper so that cuts down on time! LOL
Sounds like you had a great day yesterday!

Glad you had a great time with him and got it all on film.
I still have plenty to do.
Sounds like a fun day Kat. You'll love looking back at the video in the years to come.

It sounds like you had a great day with Braeden. :) What wonderful memories you've made with him...
I can't wait until next year when Sarah is old enough where we can do some baking and special things together, like you and Braeden have done. :) I'm sure he enjoyed his time with you... :)

LOL! I guess it's really the only "Martha Stewarty" thing I do. It has become a tradition. Ds walked through the kitchen yesterday while I was stamping and painting away and said, "man you must love that paper!" It's my way of having a white Christmas since I stamp snowflakes, though looks like this year we may get the real thing.

I know you can get them here at the malls. I have heard that you get charged like $2.50 a month after the first 6 months if ya dont use them and they expire after a year or something. Good Luck!
