Any tornados near you? :nervous: I am just trying to catch the news - sounds like there was lots going on. We had a watch tonight, but no warning here. Hope everything is okay up there! Also, what did you ever find out last week about the bomb threat at dd's school?

No severe weather here. We weren't home at the time but dd said that it got dark and rained a little bit... but nothing bad.

As for the bomb... I heard on the news tonight that it WAS a bomb, but evidently an old deteriated one that had been up on the roof for a while. Who knows how long... Ugh! I'm glad it didn't work when it was first put up there. They're offering a $500.00 reward for any information anybody can offer them about it. They'll probably never find out anything. :( It's kind of scary thinking that somebody can throw something like that up a school roof and nobody has a clue that it's up there... I mean, if it hadn't (evidently) been defective, it could have gone off and killed a LOT of students. Here were all worrying about guns and they find a bomb. It doesn't make you feel very secure sending your kids to school.

Scary about the BOMB!!!!!! That is so unreal and makes one wonder how long it was there and who put it there! :nervous: So glad it was defective, but know what you mean about not knowing if it's really safe. :nervous: We used to get bomb threats when I was in school, but it was always just that - a threat - never any bombs found. Weird that they found a bomb but didn't have a threat at any point! Hopefully someone will come forward with some info!

We had pretty sunny skies here tonight. In fact we went for a walk after 8 and my mom left a msg saying they were in the midst of a tornado warning.

In our local paper they said it was a BOMB... on the New's they said they couldn't tell WHAT it was but they thought it was a "home made" bomb. (What... do they sell bombs at the store now???) Ugh!!! Who knows!!! LOL I'm glad school will soon be out and we won't have to worry about it for a while. Maybe they'll have found something out by then, but I doubt it. :(
