You remind me of a friend of mine. I call her Tex Ann. She is from Texas too. She is probably a lot older though. She lives in Ohio now.

You all feed your children dinner? Mine are at the table right now, 8pm, eating toast and bacon.

I had a track meet with my youngest dd (she competes, I sit there cheering for her and wondering how long it'll be! LOL), so when I got home at 7:45, I said "we're grazing the refrigerator tonight. Find yourself something to eat, and clean up after. I'm the worst tonight, ladies. I didn't even watch what they picked, and I don't think any 2 were sitting at the same time.

I miss my family dinners. We used to have 7 a week. Now we're down to about 2 or 3. Sigh...

My 2 year old has decided he wants dinosaur Birthday and "cookoos" (I think he means cake.) My friend Ann's children are all adults and I think married (not quite sure) but I think they are old enough to be married. She is great. She always has me rolling in laughter. I miss her. Haven't seen her in a long time. It's funny most of my friends are as old or older than my mom (37). Yes I am only 22. Am I the youngest here???

Anyway back to the original topic. Your personality from what I've picked up by your posts is quite similar...

Hey Janice!!! Nice to see you again! We have some great debates going! I know how you love those things! ROFL!(JK)

Netmechwife-sorry to leave you hanging last night, but I turned off the computer and was watching Survivor. It was not intentional! Do you have a shorter name I can use when referring to you? I have a short memory span. LOL

Our supper wasn't much better. I bought an already made package of lasagna from Simeks... popped in the oven along with some Garlic bread and I made a salad. Not too bad but I guess I could have done a lot better. LOL I was very tired and feeling lazy!!! :)

Diane...

I loved reading these posts. I was so afraid that with all the SAHMs that I would be embarrassed by all the wonderful full course meals you ladies had time to prepare. Glad to see your families eat pretty much like mine.

I try to cook well most of the time but it's easy to get busy when you are already feeding one 8 full course meals a day and running after the other:)

Kinda funny that a post about lurkers has had 31 replies but 200 hits!

So nice to hear that other families have "pick your own" suppers too. It's youngest dd's personal favourite.
