View Full Version : Could you be a Survivor Millionaire?
I watched the special last night and felt really bad for Tina's family. There is no more privacy and you are constantly interrupted. I don't think I would want to be a millionaire if my family's life would be turned upside down like that and put that far back on the backburner.
I would definitely want to be one is I were single though! LOL
Isn't that the whole reason Jeri went on the show??? LOL
I think it would be hard to have your life turned upside down like that, especially since the media is so hell bent on invading peoples lives these days.

I think alot of people want to be famous but don't realize how it changes your life. It can make you a prisoner.

I just saw a small bit of it last night in between ds's baseball. What's happening with Tina's family?

To me it seemed like Tina didn't really mind the attention, but her husband seemed a bit aggitated. And how about Deb? I really do feel sorry for her, but in another sense I feel she put herself in this position. Once you are in the eye of the public your entire life becomes an open book.

No, I really like my privacy! :)
Don't you think with Tina this will all just pass??
TriciaK - I feel sorry for Deb, too and agree with what you said about subjecting herself to the public by going on the show. Of course people were going to jump all over the fact that she is dating her deceased husband's son. Not that it makes it okay for people to continue to harrass and judge her, but she should have expected it. On the other hand no one seems to know all of the details, so maybe ? somehow ? it's not as bad as it sounds?????
I'm sure our Family could adjust.... LOL  we don't have any skeletons in our closets, and I could sure use the money...fame would be interesting, thought I would need a new wardrobe....LOL....But in reality, I don't think I could have done what they all did in the outback....
