ended up going out with two other families to the local mex place. kids on one end, grown ups on the other. laughed alot. it was one of the dad's birthday and right when we were leaving after we paid the waiter says 'can you wait just a minute' we think yikes, did a credit card did declined? LOL and they brought out (more) margaritas to all of us to celebrate his birthday! so two pitchers plus another glass for 6 adults..not too bad!

nothing much on today, i've been up since about 4:30 so I am seeing a nap in my near future!

Hi everyone! I just rolled out of bed, and since church starts in 7 minutes and it is a 30 minute drive, I guess I am skipping church today. I haven't been feeling well, so it felt good to be able to stay in bed this morning. A little housework is all that is on my list today. Hope everyone has a great one!

Didn't sleep well last night even though I was so tired, have a sore throat and sinus pain this morning. okay, done whining now!

Had a great weekend away, Friday had supper and a visit with my parents, then had my birth mom and sister come over to the hotel for a visit. Dd did so great at the meet yesterday, I was so proud of her, she medalled in every event!! A gold on beam, silver on floor, and bronze for vault, bars and all-around. She has improved so much over last year, so I hope this is a taste of what the season will be like for her, she is usually the underdog, although it doesn't bother her because she loves what she is doing, but she was pretty proud yesterday too!!

Still in jammies here. Dh and dd did church but I stayed behind.
Not sure what we are doing today. Want to hit some more of the good sales, but our townhouse needs some stuff now that the renters are out, so....... boo. We got some ice last night and it's so cold, I may just go back to bed. lol

Feeling worse since last night. At dinner time I got some pretty strong pains in my stomach and had to stay in one position on the couch. Didn't sleep well and have them off and on this am plus I'm still all stuffed up. Will this cold ever go away?? done whining now.
Not much for me today, vegging. Might have to do a load of laundry for the kids school clothes but that's about it.

Beautiful sunny day here. The temperature has started to rise just a little bit. Oldest ds is having his guitar lesson right now. He has a hockey game this afternoon, and then we have no other plans!!!

My parents came back from a Mexican cruise last night, so hopefully we'll get to have dinner with them.

Had a great time at the birthday party last night. Slept in today so better get my butt in gear. Need to do some extreme vacuuming today. This time of year really brings the sand and salt inside our home.

I'm being lazy. Slept in a bit and have had breakfast. Need to get my butt in gear to take a shower and head out to the grocery store. Guess I need to finish my list first! :rolleyes: Have laundry going and I'm hoping to finish it up today as there's not much left to do. Doing major cleaning, you know going through piles of papers I have stacked and hidden away. Started last night so it shouldn't take too much time today. My interviews went extremely well on Friday and I have 2 new boys starting full time next week. One will be here a few days this week as well to start to transition.

Stayed up till 3 am, slept til 2 pm!! Dd spent the night with mom. I've got to get back to a normal routine!! Need to do laundry and straighten up. Making df go to Wally World, it's too cold out there for me to go!!! :rolleyes:

Well, I've been very productive..... at sleeping. Crawled back into bed around 11 and got up at 2:30! Dh and dd had slept some too after church and were up playing Electronic Battleship.
I warmed up some chili and we're watching a movie. How's that for exciting?!

Pretty lazy day here. The younger kids had a friend over last night and so I took her home after lunch. I finished all my calendars and newletters for preschool, but I ran out of printer ink so that's on a standstill until tomorrow.

Oldest boys have bowling tonight and dh & I have a meeting for dd #2's first Communion. I'm sure this is the same one we had to go to last year with dd #1. Not sure why we have to repeat it, but maybe by next year with ds #3 we can run the meeting!! LOL

Dh took ds #1 to a 4-h archery shoot yesterday and ds got first place and a trophy in his division. He was pretty pumped.

It's about time to get supper ready so we can get moving.

Evening all. I am still dragging my butt! Not sick, just so blinkin tired.
Did get alot acomplished today, so I can justify heading to bed early.

Oldest dd starts exams this week, so trying to get her to study. Ds has hockey late tomorrow, so at least I can get supper on the table before the game.

Ds just helped me get supper ready! How nice to have help. Made dd clean up and put everything away, and have oldest dd doing dishes. Knew I had kids for some reason! :lol:

After spending all day yesterday cleaning the toyroom and going through all the toys... I decided that today I wasn't going to do any more than I had to. :) Mostly spent the day reading and lurking on the computer. Made dinner tonight, watched news and here I am. :) I'm anxious for Desperate Housewifes to come on later. I hoping it's on and that it's not a rerun.

Did a few loads of laundry, glad to have that done and out of the way so I won't have to worry about doing that tomorrow. Otherwise... nothing.

We ended up going to Target just to get out and get some air; dh paces like a wild animal if he can't get outside. lol

I was actually relieved to see it was a repeat because I didn't know it was on one hour later than normal (dh happened to flip by it) and I never would have been able to stay away to see it all, lol.
