Sitting a whole day in the hospital got me SO tired... I went to bed early last night and slept in late this morning, which is unusual for me. LOL My mom's surgery went well yesterday but now this morning her blood pressure is way too low and their scrambling to find out why. They had told us yesterday that she'd be coming home today but if they can't figure out what's wrong, I'm sure that she won't be. :( My dad isn't getting around very well either (bad hip) so I'm also concerned about how much good care she'll be getting when she does get home. I can only be there so much so hopefully I'll be able to count on a few of my sisters to help out. (ugh!)
Anyway, it's a beautiful day today... the sun is out and the birds are happily singing their tunes. LOL Somebody is very ambitious, their already outside mowing their lawn. :) I've still got my flower bulbs to plant and I'm hoping to get that done by the end of the weekend. The ground is still so wet from all the rain we've been getting.
SOOO... you all have a GREAT day doing whatever it is you're doing.
Bye...
Glad to hear the surgery went well, hope they find out why her blood pressure is low. Stress always makes me sleepy!! You can get a medicare nurse to come in.

Thanks Ann... I never thought about having any "outside sources" coming in to help, we've always just done it ourselves. :) Their also so proud, I'm not too sure if they'd "allow" anybody else to come in to help them... but honestly, when it comes right down to it if I don't feel as if I'm getting enough help from any of my sister's, that's exactly what it will have to come down to. I'm always willing to do anything and everything I can but I can only do so much. Thanks for the idea!!! :)

Goodmorning.....although not nearly as early as you netmechwife (did I read in another post we could call you Mandy?).
Diane...I hope your mom is feeling better by now and the dr. have figured out what is causing her blood pressure to be low.
It is a beautiful day here....sun, not much wind....dh will be mowing the yard, I am going to help out at our high school with their musical "FAME", ds has a bday party and not sure what the girls will be up to.
Thinking we will have a bonfire tonight.....you're all invited  ! Just bring your own food! ;)
Hope everyone has a great day!

My dh was at his friend's house bc they were home from college. When they come home he usually visits them (and plays computer games and watches movies til really late.) They've come to our house maybe twice to visit Michael but I think the "wife and kids" thing is ackward for them. They are both very single...
I went to bed around 2:30. I have a hard time winding down at night when dh isn't here so I stay up and clean usually
I hope everything is going well for you Diane.
I will be praying for you.
My mom has an elderly father who is very determined to be independent. Probably more than he should be. It really frustrates my mom and she is an only child.

Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers... by the time we got to the hospital she was already doing much better and four hours later we were able to take her home. :) :yippee: I talked with her a few minutes ago and she said she's doing just great... so I'm real happy about that. The only restriction that she has is that she's not suppose to lift anything over 15 pounds for a few weeks. When we were leaving their house she was already itching to get outside to find something to do... Ugh! :) LOL I've never known her to be a sitter, but always up and busy doing something. I guess I can't complain and I'd rather have her active than not so... I'm assuming that she'll be back doing her normal stuff in a matter of no time. LOL Anyway, just thought I'd let you all know. Thanks again!!!
