Newbie with a question?

I have just tripped upon this forum and was delighted to see its content. i sure could have used something like this when my daughter was little. She is now a pre-teen (grade 8) and has been just recommended for an enriched program at Queen's University in Kingston, On.Canada. (Seeds-in-Residence). Just wondering if anyone out there has had a child in this program or similar program that entailed a three day residence study program at a local university campus.

Hi and welcome. I don't know anything specifically about that program, but I have sent kids off to summer camp for at least a week. If that helps let me know.

There are quite a few people from cananda so they may be able to help.

My brother did a summer program for computers at the university when he was in like 9th grade. Don't know much about it though. Sorry No help.
