Does anyone have a movie ticket stub laying around? In your wallet, coat, etc.?

Dd is going to the movies for her b'day party this weekend. I'm trying to design a cake to go along with the movie type theme. At the bakery this a.m. the cake designer had just done one yesterday that looked like a movie ticket. I'd get him to do it, but I don't want to pay $30 for a 1/4 sheetcake!

I'm trying to figure out what all is on a ticket stub. lol.

So far I have
"M" Productions Presents:
"R's" 9th Birthday
Premiere date 2-22-96
Then, I get stuck. lol There needs to be more to it.

I did great with the invitation, but this cake is stumping me!!!! :tearhair:

I usually have a ton laying around but of course I cleaned last week. But I did a search and found this. Hope it helps.

If you can't get the ticket stub down, I think doing something like this would be cute!

I changed Vea's search to "movie ticket stub" and different images came up:

I like this stub:

Take a photo of the cake and make it your avatar!

I have a bhg magazine for kids parties and there is a round cake in there for just this theme. It's a round chocolate cake with icing and candies around the sides to look like movie reel film and the top has red/white striped cups filled with popcorn. I have the recipe but I will look and see if it's online. If you want I can ask dh to scan the pic for you. I would but not sure if it's working.

Thanks for all the links, ya'll! I had not done a Yahoo search, and I like the results.

Mickey, I like the clapboard and movie reel. Maybe I can use it and just add the text. If I can design something, the bakery will do the "Picture Perfect" thing and put it on the cake. I just have to have it in by tomorrow.

Melody, that would be so nice. Don't go to a lot of trouble, though. I went to the bhg (which I assumed was Better Homes & Gardens) and did not find the cake you mentioned. It sounds very cute.
