My puter seems to freeze up, not all the time, but sometimes when I am trying to read a pdf file. I looked and I have the 6.0 version of Adobe, and the website shows a 7.0 version, but when I go to install it, it's the 6.0 version......
first, is there a newer version?
and why would i sometimes freeze up and sometimes not???

I have 6.0 and I haven't had any problems with it. Maybe it just has something against you personally? LOL

Having just had Adobe installed on my computer at work, I know there is a version 7, but I don't know if that's the version installed, lol. Maybe just try re-installing version 6 and see what happens. Maybe it caught a bug :nurse:

Ann, we have to clean our computer out alot because of all the mess that can get in the p/c. Just a thought.

Ann...dh says to uninstall version 6, then go to the Adobe site and install version 7.

He says it may be freezing cause you have too many programs running at once.

:)

That sounds strange?? Maybe conflict of interest with another program?? Found that to be a problem once.
I looked, I have v.5 ?? wonder why I haven't updated yet?? I guess since mine is working for now will worry about it til later.
Hope ya get it straighten out soon.
