If you were a 13 year old girl, wouldyou consider it odd if someone gave you a pair of flip-flops (sandals) for Easter?

hmmm....Is it part of a themed gift basket? Like summertime fun stuff?

Uhmmm, not originally, but that's a good idea. I filled a coffee mug with shredded Easter paper (pastel crinkle paper), added a Starbucks gift card, a tin of Starbucks mints, and a few chocolate foil eggs, then wrapped the whole thing in celophane for her sister.

You could add a pair of sunglasses, sunblock, a pareo (sp?), chapstick or gloss and put it in a sun hat or beach bag.

I was trying to keep it in the $15 range and the sandals are $10.

I think I'd throw them in a cute tote and add a little more. If the sister is getting several things, it might be a little awkward if she just gets flip flops (even if they are $10).
Cute idea with the coffee stuff!!! :)

Since you did sort of a basket for the sister, I would go to the dollar store and get a cheap plastic sand bucket, fill it with the easter grass, then add some lip gloss, suntan lotion and the flip flops.

Great ideas, ya'll. I have all boys, so I just really have no clue about teenage girls. I ordered the flip flops from American Eagle online because her size isn't available in stores. I'll look at Target for the rest of the stuff.

You can't give both sister's the same/similar? (maybe different colors?)

Not really, there's a 6 year age difference.
