Well, it's after midnight here and officially it is Friday. I had two cups of coffee at about 9 so here I am paying for drinking caffeine so late.

Today, well, after I go to bed and wake up, I am going to search the church attic for some decorations for a women's event. Then Brichard and I will have the day together with our little one. We will go out for lunch and then hang outside as it is supposed to be beautiful and in the low 60's. :yippee:

Poor Brich has had so many jobs in the last couple of years that I don't remember what he is doing now. It sounds as if he is logging in a ton of hours.

I am a posting freak this a.m. I have no kitchen and our living room and family room is filled with boxes with more being added today. The computer area is the only area not claustrophobic. LOL

I am getting my hair colored and cut this morning. I think I am going light copper base with blonde highlights. It will look good with my summer tan if it ever gets past 30 degrees outside. Since dh has been going crazy on the kitchen, he won't lift a finger to help me with the painting I have to get done tonight. Of course I have outdone myself with extra work because I decided on faux painting. Not only do I have to prime everything, but there is base paint and two color of glazes to add. I always do this to myself. I have grand ideas and that involves more work than I wanted to do. LOL

Must be the morning to be up early. I was up early did a load of laundry then headed on to school. I got here at 7:00, have a meeting at 8:00, at 9:00, at 11:00, and finally at 1:00, then it's off to tan and get my hair cut and colored. I've only tanned one other time in my life and I never burned. I'm in a brand new bed this time and I have burned boobies and there I was yesterday during P/T conferences with this nearly uncontrollable desire to just scratch.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Angie, tell Brichard "hi". I miss having him post.

Morning All!

Not much going on....I'm probably going to Motor Vehicles today to het new parking permit. I'm still using the one from NY. Then I have to get together a care package for a friend. Everyones been leaning on her for support. Plus Teaching full time Directing school play and going to grad school full time. Well she finally crashed this week. She called me up saying she had nothing left to give to anyone. She had been crying all day and lost it totally when she dropped her Potato salad at lunch. Anyway...I think she needs a care package. I found this great key chain that says "we are, each of us, agels with ony one wing, and we can only fly by embraccing each other". And it has an angel filled eith glitter. I'm also ging to get her some payday Bars (she doesn't eat much chocolate) they're her favorite. May throw ing a little chocolate...for emergancies.

Anyway I'm babbling ...hope you all have a great day! It's bright/ sunny and supposed to be warm. I'm going to enjoy it.

I got my hopes up high when I woke up and we didn't have any new snow on the ground. We were suppose to wake up to at least 2 to 3 inches. No sooner did I say a hip-hip-hurray, and it started snowing. We already have about a half an inch. Am hoping we won't get all of what some area's are getting. I'm suppose to get Sarah again today IF we get a bunch of snow.
I did all of my house cleaning and laundry yesterday just in case because I knew I wouldn't get it done with Sarah here. LOL

Dh's and my night out by ourselves tonight... but I'm not too sure if we'll go because Dawn won't be able to pick Sarah up until late, and we don't like going too late. If were going to be home waiting I may as well cook and eat early.

I got all my sick kids back today. It ended up that all of my one family had strep and even though their son was still crying/complaining this morning she made him go to day care/school. If he's still like that when he comes home she's going to have to come and pick him up because I don't want him here when/if he's sick. I don't need/want it nor do any of the other families who are here.

Anyway... hope you all have a great day!

Diane...

Got up at regular time today. My friend's ds is still sick, but the girls I had for her didn't need to come this morning. Going to Curves tonight and then to see "Are we There Yet" at the movie theater here on base. It will be nice to do something as a family because dh has been working long hours for the last few weeks. Supposed to rain all weekend and supposed to start sometime today. My friend that's ds is sick is the one I'm supposed to have the yard sale with. Not sure what will happen with that now.

Vea- your friend sounds like she's in need of some stress relief! She sure has a lot on her plate.

Amy- have fun painting tonight!

Ann-hope dd is feeling better soon.

Angie- you sound busy

Bev-hope you are feeling better soon.

Diane-enjoy your time with Sarah

Renee- you are getting spoiled these days! ;)

THAT'S why it's still enjoyable, lol. Live here in the north with us and you wouldn't be saying that, lol. Unless you only see it 3 times in one winter maybe :dazed:

Snow day for us!!! :happydnc: We have about 4-6 inches so far and may end up with anywhere from 9-13!!! :D I have waited for this all winter and I don't care that Spring is 2 days away!! :yippee: I think we're in the strip of MN getting hit the hardest!! (Diane, you should be a little 'safer' up there. :))Dks had a blast outside this morning and the dog almost disappears in the snow.....hmmmm, new idea. ;) Kind of funny - at 6 this morning I woke dh up to tell him school was cancelled and he was like, "Are you sure?"
Me: "Yes"
Him: "How do you know?"
Me: "TV and I called the school hotline"
Him: "Are you sure?"
Me:     Guess he was still half asleep. :crazyroll Had a good laugh about it later this morning.

Snow is still coming down and he wants to take dks to play in the gym at school and watch a game at his buddy's house....I'd prefer they stay home so we'll see.....

I was talking to a friend yesterday about how we hadn't missed any school this year for the weather. Today it is beautiful about 60 degrees.

Brichard and I went to Cracker Barrell this morning for breakfast. We had pecan pancakes... Dd had oatmeal. We went to the church, Old Navy, Blockbuster, grocery store and Papa Muphy's. I'm taking a meal to a sick friend this afternoon. That's it!

What a great day!!

Crummy, cold freezing weather here. Had a few flakes this morning but only lasted about 10 minutes.

DD #2 got sick during the night so I came back home, after opening at 6:30, once my aide got there. She didn't really sound like she wanted to come in. I only had 3 kids so I'm really not making any money-once I pay for her time I'm pretty much breaking even. Dh is coming home around 2 to stay with dd so I can go back in and set up for Kid's Fair and pick up school age kids and close at the daycare.

My stomach feels kinda yuck but I think it's because of the gross cheese pizza I just had for lunch. I'm so glad there's only one more Friday in Lent. My stomach just doesn't do well with these non-meat meals I've had. It doesn't help that my cough has turned into the dry tickle that won't go away!

Need to get something done before I fall asleep at the computer. (I only got about 4 hrs. of sleep last night).
have a good day all!

Afternoon all. Just got finished parent/teacher meetings. All is well with all the kids. Just trying to get courses selected for oldest dd for grade 10...goodness only know what she wants to be when she grows up, but these decisions have to be thought about now so she gets the right courses.

Think I will head to the mall this afternoon and snoop around to see if I can find any deals. Dd needs black shorts for a dance performance on Monday....who thinks of shorts in the middle of winter! I know official spring is only a few days away, but with the amount of snow still here and the icky temps, it feels like January not March.

:)

LOL about ds.
When I woke up this morning we had absolutely no snow. It's been coming down pretty good since, and we now have about 2-1/2 to 3 inches... and it's still coming down. :( I heard some places got up to 18 inches... so it could be worse. LOL I'm not happy/excited about it like you are though... I'm ready for it to go away. LOL I hope you're kids enjoyed their day off.

Snow day for us!!! :happydnc:

I'm so jealous!!! We got 4" last night, but not much more during the day. We're supposed to get some tonight, though. This is that wet heavy snow...perfect for snowballs, but terrible for shoveling.

Really can't remember the last time we had a full and true snow day. I stayed in my pjs all day :D and dh and dks ventured out. Careful if you shovel...and if you're out during a snowball fight. LOL!

Have you gotten much more? I'm not sure of our total, but I think it's still coming down.
Dks had a blast and have been in and out all day. Was a hoot watching them snowboard down the driveway. So glad they finally got snow this year!! :)
