Got home last night and flaked once we put a few things away.
Getting ready to go skiing in about an hour. Ds1 has been twice, I'm anxious to watch him. Ds2 hasn't before. I'll be brining the video cameral.
Guess I will have to catch up later. Hope you all enjoyed the week.
Have a good day all :)

dh arrived Friday with the rest of our stuff, so finally have my computer back.

Had a bit of a family crisis yesterday,so didn't get anything unpacked, hope to get a bit done this morning.
Sil and husband and two kids just flew back from Florida and were on their way home when they were involved in an accident. The car in the next lane decided to merge over without signalling or checking their blind spot and hit SIL's car, pushing them into the lane and milk truck on the other side of them.
bil and thier ds were fine, Their dd has a broken collar bone and two ribs along with a few scapes and bruises. Sil has a broken arm, and gash on the side of her head just above her ear that required 26 stitches. They also kept her at the hospital to monitor her as she is 7 monthes pregnant. Everything seems ok so far. Of course the idiot who hit them came away with not a scratch and minimal damage to his car. All he said " Oh I didn't see you there" not even an "I'm sorry". We just thank God that they are all ok. It could have been so much worse. SIL should be released from the hospital today sometime. We are going over to their place to help out a bit later today. May bring our nephew home with us and he can go to school with dd and ds tomorrow.
They are so excited to be starting back at their old school and meeting up with old friends again. dd has already been on two sleepovers and we only got here Tues. evening.

I had my DR. appt. friday. She figures the headaches are stress related but did some blood work anyway. I am scheduled to go for an ultrasound on Wed. Dh says we should find out what the baby is (girl/boy) but I'd kind of like to wait and have it a surprise this time. Still have a few days to think about it.

How scary for your inlaws. Glad the injuries weren't more severe. The poor kids must've been terrified.
The guy probably didn't say sorry because that is admitting fault and makes the insurance really go up. I've been told by insurance agents that you're not supposed to say sorry, not matter how much it's your fault. Seems terrible and heartless doens't it. :\
Good luck with your unpacking. Let us know what the results from the ultrasound are.

I'm still waiting for everyone else to get ready to go.

Mel, enjoy your skiing.
Ryliegh, sorry to hear about your in-laws and glad they aren't worse off.
Ann, enjoy your burgers and company.

Met dh at darts yesterday afternoon and got invited to a fellow teammates for drinks in the evening. Get home from darts and friends called to invite us out to dinner. We went and they asked if wanted to go to the casino after dinner. Pass on that since we already made plans. Stop at home for the track pants I bought my Dad as we'll drop them off on our way to drinks and BIL phoned to invite us over for cards. That's always the way it is...3 invites for one day or none at all, lol.

Hoping someone in my family is going to visit Dad today since he's in need of some clean clothes. If no one else is going I'll have to drive over later. DS plays his last hockey game of the season today.

Didn't get home until after 2:00 last night. I had every intention of sleeping in this morning, but I was sitll awake/up by 6:45, so I'll be running on 4-1/2 hours of sleep today. Hopefully I'll get to bed early tonight. :)

Running some errands later then back home for the rest of the night. My back's been bothering me again, so I'm trying not to irritate it by doing too much. Kids are on spring break next week so I won't have my three mornings off this week. :( I'm halfway hoping S----y's grandma offers to take her for at least one morning or day, then I'll still be able to take my mom to the grocery store. If not I'll have to try to find some time to do it in the evening. I guess I've gotten a little spoiled with having so much time off. :)

Anyway, hope you're all having a good day!

BevJ... Sounds like you've been busy. Enjoy yourseves. :)
Mel... Enjoy your skiing.
Ryliegh... So sorry to hear about your in-laws and their accident. I'll keep my fingers crossed that everything continues to go well for them.
Ann... I'd love to go out and do burgers on the grill today, :licklips: but I can't even see it under all this %&$(* snow. LOL Enjoy your company/burgers.

Did you guys end up getting a lot? I thought you pretty much got missed up there. We got over 10 inches, but dh and I were just commenting today that you'd never know it with all that has already melted with the 'warmer' temps. Our roads are all clear and we can see grass already in many spots! 8o

Had Easter at my mom's today and then the basketball banquet was tonight, so it was a busy but fun day. :) Youngest ds only has 2 days of school this week, oldest has 3, and dh has 4 ~ will be nice to have a short school week.

I took him the pants Sat. night but told him to try them on in the a.m. My eldest sister when to see him yesterday and she said he didn't like them, lol. But I knew he wouldn't. She said she has another pair in mind so we are going to go shopping together for them.
