I've seen it in a couple recipes lately but don't know what it is. (a pasta maybe?)

I always find it in the "pasta" section at my grocery store.

It's good mixed with other things. Kinda bland on it's own. Our meijer's has it in the health food section. They have flavored kinds too. I liked the lemon spinach cous cous I tried. It is pronounced "cooz cooz". I used to always call it "cus cus" because I had no clue how to say it...

I believe cous cous is a wheat product (but do not quote me on that). It is similar to pasta and rice. I use it in any dish that calls for rice. It is often used in Middle-Eastern cooking, but can easily be adapted in other recipies. Generally, I have found it to be pricey at the grocery store, but in my area I can buy it real cheap at the local Amish bulk store. I love it, but my husband thinks it is too bland so I only use it in dishes that are spicey.
