I've been missing dh like crazy, ds is driving me crazy and life in general has just been crazy. I really needed a boost... and I got several! Yesterday in the mail dd got a package for my Mom's bday (today) that she was desperately hoping would get here before she left, and we were both so excited about that! Our income tax return came earlier than we expected and for more than I expected! To top it off my Dad's cousin and I have been corresponding for the past few months. He has cancer and has been in and out of remission for the past few years. Uncle Larry sent me a cassette tape to transcribe for him of memories of his childhood with Dad and my grandparents as well as two letters... one from my Grandmother to his mom and one from my Dad to him. :) Talk about a trip down memory lane!

Today I got a card in the mail from my sister, thanking me just for being me and being there for her when she needed a shoulder. The the doorbell just rang and there's the FedEx guy with two dozen roses from dh. :bawling: He's so sweet!

Anyway.... just had to share my happy days with you all. :)

That's great! Those surprise pick me ups are great. My best friend was estatic yesterday when she got the care package I sent....And it was just something small.

Thanks ya'll! I'm sitting here with Little Guy Smilie (aka ds2, no longer known as Mr. Crankypants) cuddling on my lap, so things are definitely looking up! :)

Glad things are looking up. With dh coming home today, things should be almost perfect! :)
