Judy, I'm jelous of your green. Enjoy the gkds today.

Well, ds2 was up in the middle of the night with a very sore throat and a fever. Ugh! He just finished the antibiotics for strep. Said he has a headache and a 'bit' of a sore throat this am. I hope it doesn't come back on him. Will see how he does today.
Was planning on going to Ashley furn. warehouse with dh today. Will have to see. Ds1 has science. Nothing tonight, just relaxing.
Have a good day all :)

Hey, Marla. Are you lurking?

Going gangbusters here this morning, lol! Got up at 4:30, have my second load of laundry in the wash, picked up the house, cleaned my bathroom and here I sit. That may be the long and short of my day right there.

Dd1 stayed overnight with our friends last night and they left for CA early this morning. :) She was so excited! Dh comes home tomorrow!!!!! :yippee: No more New York, no more traveling!

Ds2 slept through the night last night, so I'm going to cautiously say he's on the mend. :)

Dd2 has gymnastics this afternoon and ds1 has 1/2 day. May end up giving the boy's haircuts later... they're both looking a bit shaggy.

Hope you all have a great day!

The first kid/student here for his meeting with the big boss today (I set the meetings up yesterday). He's gotta be nervous and I'm actually feeling kind of bad for him.

Judy, I want some of your green too.
Mel, sorry to hear ds2 isn't up to par yet.
Pam, how exciting for your dd going to CA.

Work today, Suvivor tonight. Dad's not getting released any time soon, so my sister found out, but he IS coming home for Easter weekend (now that he finally has a new brace they want to work with him for a bit...I don't know how, they never let him out of his wheelchair except for the little bit of PT he gets every day). Guess we'll enjoy our roast by ourselves tonight.

Up and ready to go. Have an early one again today. Did I mention that my parents are coming for a visit? They arrive Friday and don't leave until the 4th. not sure what they plan on doing every day. The dks have Spring Break next week, but dh and I both will be working long hours next week. they decided to come visit us since dh couldn't get the week off for us to go visit them. Luckily they aren't staying at the house. (they both snore like you wouldn't believe)

Late dc night, then Curves, Survivor and dks have guitar lessons. Can't wait until next week when Survivor is back on Thursdays. Dks have guitar practice right in the middle of the show!

Morning!
You all sound like you have a ton of energy....I was up until 2 a.m. Couldn't sleep.....weird.

Not sure what the day holds other then going to the dentist...wonderful. The weather is supposed to be really yucky the next few day. They're not sure if it's rain or snow...Lucky us.

Pam~ You must be so glad dh is done with NY.

poor ds didn't go to sleep till 6 this am, up barking all night. this was the 3rd night so for him that means the downhill side. dd is still not better taking her into the doc at 2.

Your poor son. It's gotta be miserable not being able to sleep. I hope it clears up for the pair of them soon. Hope the doc can recommend something for her.

Yep, especially when meds dont seem to do anything. It's 5 days no matter what we do. grrrr

DD is being treated for bronchia pneumonia..they aren't 100% sure that's what she has. Blood tests came back in the low range of normal with being more positive for viral versus bacterial. because of that they didn't do a chest x-ray but are giving her the meds that they would give if the x-ray were positive (z pack and albuterrol)

Hope the meds help her, Ann.
I'm taking ds2 to the doc tonight. He seemed fine for a while but started to complain of his throat again. Took his temp and it was 40.2! His throat is really red so I wonder if the first round of meds didn't take care of the strep.
I can't wait for this season to be over and they kids are all healthy and running through the sprinklers.

That would likely be celcius.... 104.36 F.

Melody.... hope your little one is feeling better soon.!!!

We got a lot of unpacking done the last couple days. All three kids rooms need a paint job, but that will happen over the next few months, not right away.
In-laws are all home and doing well.
Had my ultra-sound today and gave in to dh and asked the sex of the baby.
We have another little "girl" on the way. About 10 weeks to go and counting......
dh was rhyming off names all the way home.

I was suppose to get my new chair delivered today... but they didn't come. I didn't even get a phone call from them. I changed all of my furniture around yesterday just so I'd have a place to put it today... all for nothing! LOL Gotta give them a phone call tomorrow to see what's up and when they can deliver it... again. I hate when they do that. :(

Dawn stopped over with Sarah. They got back home from Iowa last night at 1:00 in the morning. They left late so Sarah would sleep through the drive home. :) I guess she did pretty good.

Picked my mom up after work today then went to Target. I had some last minute Easter things to get, so now I think I'm all done. :) I've got to put some baskets together for the day care kids tomorrow. I'm not going to give it to them until just before they walk out the door. That way at least I know everything will at least make it to their vehicles. LOL I usually have an Easter egg hunt outside, but this year decided to pass on it. I've got a very active neighbor boy who I'm thinking would pretty much bulldoze down just about everyone who got in his way of getting "his" eggs. I did it last year and was sorry I did so, decided against it this year.

Not much else going on. Hopy you all had a good day...

Diane...

Such a long day here. I was up at 1 with a stomach ache and it continued all night. It felt like I would have diarrhea, but it waited until 5:30 when it was time to get ready for work, before it started. It was a really LONG morning until the Imodium kicked in. Luckily I got off at 6 tonight so maybe I'll get to bed early tonight.

Cloudy and cool here. I'm so ready for nice weather and summer vacation. We'll probably have another cool summer this year too.

Sorry to read so many of you are fighting the flu bug. All but my oldest and my dh got it here. We've had a lot sick at the daycare too. Hope everyone starts feeling better soon.

Guess I don't know much else--need to get ds #1 from CCD.
Nite all!

Ds2 has a fluid build up in his right ear. To me his throat looked pretty red but doc didn't see anything to be concerned over. Not our reg. doc but a fill in at the clinic. Our reg. doc will get the paper work tomorrow showing we were there though. Start a new round of a diff. antibiotic. Hope it works. Told dh that we won't be going skiing with them on Friday. Poor guy, maybe the slopes will be open another week and half and he can go one more time this year.
