music organization

I am a teachers aide and the teacher I work for has asked me to try and come up with a good way to organize the music in our classroom.

We enjoy many different songs during the day which each seem to be on a DIFFERENT CD. We always seem to be searching for that right one ! I have tried to think of a way to store them so that the song title is easily seen .. maybe something like a clear pocket sleeve hanging on the wall ... like a shoe holder ... know what I mean ? Anyone have a great system that is working well in your classroom that you want to share ???? thanks alot :)

I just have my CDs in a box by the player with the spines up where I can read the titles. I've made tab dividers and have them seperated into categories like: stories, rhymes, movement, music, and CDs that go with my reading and lang. programs. Hope that helps. I've taught for 20 years so I know what songs are on what CDs.

Can you put them all the songs in an alphabetized list with a number next to the title and then number the cd's?
