I went to bed at 10 and slept till 1 when I heard the kids still up, and then I couldn't go back to sleep. Now, it's 5:13 and I am exhausted but we are going to the sunrise service at 7 so I will need to be getting in the shower soon.......grrr
see a nap in my future!

Happy Easter everyone! The world is bright and beautiful today and as I am off to church and presently getting the Easter Sunday meal ready I wish all a wonderful day!
I better put an apron on as I am sure to mess my self up with the food preperations. Won't be the first time, I rush out of the house with half the supper on my front!

The boys were so excited when they woke up, was glad dh already had the video camera going. They're all having a lovely breakfast of chocolate. LOL
Have cupcakes/cookies to bake and a blueberry desert to bring to sil's for dinner later. Not sure what time we are going to church at yet.

Happy Easter!!

My kids are at such a great age for this easter bunny thing!! It's been a fun morning. It is sprinkling and overcast today :bawling: Oh well, it is supposed to get into the 70's later this week. I've finished my bbq pulled pork and it is reheating in the crock right now. We are waiting for Brichard to get home from church, we went last night. Then we are off to my mom's. This will be the third time I've seen her this week!!! I wish we had more time together. Am I babbling?!

Had an Easter dinner yesterday with myDad/sister and her family...so far everthing looks good with my niece's pregnancy. Dad fell at the house yesterday. His leg was really bothering him. I heard this morning that he dediced to go back last night. I will have to call him later today. Going to BIL/SIL's for dinner today.

We had my whole family in here yesterday to celebrate an early Easter. Went to church last night (after family left). Today we have no big plans...and it's kind of nice. The boys enjoyed the goodies in their baskets, and we're just putzing around this morning. We have plenty of leftovers to eat...yeah!!

WOW, Happy Easter all....just got back from church.....kids are begging for sunday pancakes, so dh is obliging....:)

Had the end hunt.....small quiet dinner later for just us....

Was back home from church and in bed at 8:30! LOL It was a really nice service. It was at our youth center, so real relaxed...i got to sit on a couch! Traditional music but played on guitars. Nice sermom too.
With our kids not 100%, and my dad has got some stomach bug, we cancelled the lunch at my cousins. DH is going to grill some beef tenderloins. am going to fix mashed potatoes, brocolli and a spinach salad for dinner tonite.

Am having a nice quiet day to myself. dd2 is having a quiet day with dh before he goes back to ga for the week again.
Dh is gone he left last nite. So have just been sorta flitting around doing this and that yet nothing at all. Missed the services this week, hmmm.
Dh took sil to see the property yesterday an they were already talking about this and that with it.
Well, more reading then break over; have some things I would like to do today so I can sit an relax this evening. Suppose to have t-storms here, dont' know yet, they missed us yesterday .. lol

The bunny almost got busted last night... well, this a.m.! :nervous: Dd was soooooo excited she couldn't stay asleep! The first time I was about the get her basket and goodies out, she woke up to go potty... waited another couple of hours... at 2 I decided to try again, got the stuff in her room... then about 15 mins later she was up telling me what she got... she asked if I had brought her basket into her room, stupid me said no, she said she saw the bunny and he was disguised to look like me! :lol: Close one! I'm not ready to give up on the bunny, tooth fairy, Santa, etc yet! Hope she bought it!!!
We had a lovely, relaxing day, mom came for dinner, fixed a ham in my new mac daddy crock pot and it turned out delish! Can't wait for leftovers tomorrow!
Df and I got dd a Disney digital camera and it's so cool! She's been having a blast taking pics of her Easter stuff and it's so nice to not run out of film!!! Found it on ebay for a steal! New in the box! If your dk's like to take pics, I definitely recommend getting one! Took df showing her one time what to do and she had the knack! And you can record short movies! And it comes with software to add borders and kinds of neat touches to the pics!!! What fun!

Evening all! Had a nice surprise this morning when my nephew and his girlfriend stopped in for a visit. They had been at her parents place approx 1.5 hour drive away and decided to come see us. I haven't seen him since July, so it was great.

Had a big supper at mil. Always eat too much over there cause she is a great cook.

No school now for the week, so don't have to worry about getting up tomorrow morning! :yippee: Never did get started on a book this weekend, so may do that tomorrow.

Dh and I woke up early and decided to go out for breakfast. I had to get back to make my green bean casserole to bring to my sisters house. It was nice seeing everyone... we hadn't seen some of them since Christmas. We made it home just in time to watch Desperate Housewives... nice to see that it wasn't a rerun. :)

Bev... Sorry to hear about your dad's fall. I hope he is okay.
