I woke up early and couldn't get back to sleep, :( so I decided to got up and start on my laundry. That and the darn cat wouldn't knock it off... she was walking around downstairs meowing loudly. She's been doing a lot of that lately... guess she's getting old. I can't stand that sound though.
The kids are back in school today... :happydnc: so I have my three mornings off again this week. My mom doesn't need to go grocery shopping this week, so I'm glad that I don't have to go there this morning. Thought maybe if it's nice enough I might go outside and wash/vacuum my car. It's so dirty, and I hate driving around in a dirty car. It always seems to run better if/when it's clean. LOL
Anyway, hope you all have a great day today. Take care...
Dane
Diane, I hate driving in a dirty car too and we cleaned inside and out both our cars on Friday.
Work today and dh and ds both have the day off. DH is taking ds to the mall to get a new phone card for his cell. Treadmill tonight.
Dad DIDN'T go back to the rehab on Saturday night, he just went to the hospital here in our city because the absess on his ankle was paining him something awful he couldn't sleep. Can we all have get well vibes and prayers for his absess clearing up soon?

Diane - Glad things are getting back to normal!
My mom called early this morning forgetting this is our spring break and woke me up! I forgave her since she called to tell me she booked my birthday trip with her...lol We had a great day yesterday. I love being with my family!
Today I am taking the kids to a new indoor water park in our area. Tuesday and Wednesday are supposed to be beautiful here. I can't wait!!! It should be a fun week even if we're not going on vacation!
Have a great day!
sound asleep and the doorbell rings at 8 and it's the city water guys coming to check on a problem i reported 2 weeks ago and that had been fixed!!! guess it's good it got DD up, so now tomorrow will be easier.
Bev, hope your dad's leg gets better.
Got up early to clean up. My parents are here and I haven't gotten much accomplished since they have been here! Had a nice Easter dinner with them and then dks went to go spend the night with them. Home still isn't up to par, but I wanted to check in before the day got away from me. I was supposed to have a full house today, but one of my regular dck is sick so he won't be here. Have one just for the week because his provider is on vacation. Hope he's a good kid. Two of mine are out this week on vacation and then I have the extra 9 yr old that I had last week. Crazy week around here! :)

Not feeling all that great. Going to be a quiet day. Dh and ds1 were supposed to go skiing but it's rainy off and on so dh went to work instead. I hope the kids are happy watching movies all day and not loud. Dinner at sil's was good yesterday but it still didn't feel like Easter. Maybe just too much commotion for me since I wasn't feeling up to par the last few days. Plus listening to family news that I don't want to hear.
Bev, prayers for you dad, hope it heals soon.
Hope you all have a nice day :)

Where are you guys going this year???
We are going to Louisville this year. We wanted to stay close to home and spend our money shopping instead of traveling!
morning, woke up with a sore neck, not sure what I did, but its hard to turn my head...........bitchy this a.m. lots going through my head........
making appt.s for dental/vision..........kids are on spring break.......I want to be too...........things at work are good, but there is always a power struggle going on that makes things uncomfortable..............
raining out today............anyway.......
that was pleasant.....:)
Have a nice MONDAY
Ds is home with a nasty cold. I also feel something coming on and will probably be down and out by Wednesday. LOL
RCT-who is the power struggle between? Don't you hate it when everyone choses to not get along?
Bev-prayers said for your Father!
Spring Break is over and I'm back at school. We could not have had more sh#@y wheather the whole time. Cloudy, cold, thunderstorms, and rain. And what do I see this morning coming to work? The sun! And it's supposed to be in the 70's all week. Needless to say, I'm pissed!
Did get some housecleaning done and read two great books. I read pretty solid for 3 days reading The Divinci Code and Angels and Demons both by Dan Brown. They were real page turners. I went and bought his other two books as well. Can't remember their titles off hand. Don't know when I'll get another chance to read.

DH's third day a way from home. We didn't hear from him at all last night. (No cell phone and I guess he could access the internet.) Woke up this morning to find DD sleeping on the floor of ds's bedroom. She said he was scared. Poor kids!
Working on a few class assignments. Got a Study session for my final after lunch and then a 3 hour class.

Just got back from my Mom's place. Easter was great. the kids loved the park party but came home very muddy. Easter is so early this year that things haven't had a chance to dry up at all. Ds won a chocolate bunny that is about 3 feet tall. Bigger than the girls.
Looking rather gloomy outside. May get some rain yet.

Afternoon all. Accomplished almost nothing today! Watched a movie and then bil/sil/nieces came over for the afternoon.
Having leftovers for supper, so no real cooking even today! :yippee:
Thinking there is good tv on tonight, so will probably end up on the couch.
Ahhhhh.....holidays!

kat, I have those 2 on my short list. I've read a couple of older ones lately, but I think for Spring break, I'll splurge and start with Angels and Demons. I've heard it's very good. What did you think? I'm glad it held your interest!

Go for it over Spring Break! I literally could not put either one down. I'd say one more chapter and then I couldn't stop. I just had to know what came next. I loved them. Now I'm dying to go to Paris and Rome to see all the places in both books. I also read the book (can't remember the author) of the DiVinci Code Revealed (or uncovered or something similar) about the research Brown used in writing the book, and saw some of a program on the History Channel about The DiVinci Code, all very interesting.
Enjoy!
