Wow, the time is going quickly now isn't it? Keep calm, and make LOTS of lists and tick them off as you go. And don't forget to ENJOY the experience as well, lol.

Wow...take a deep breathe...maybe a hot bath then sit down (with a cup of cocoa) and make a list. Add to it as you think of things.

I think some Jagermeister would do me better than cocoa!
Good ideas about the lists, I'm going to take y'alls advice on that! I have the main list I've had going since starting to plan, but I think it'll be helpful to make separate lists by category (wedding prep for each of us, reception stuff, general packing, etc) and that'll give me a better handle on things, to help make sure I'm not forgeting something majorly important!!!
Deep breaths!!!! :D

Oh I don't do that stuff...It's dangereous. Last time I did it....I fell off my bar stool

Definately break down the list....and keep them handy so when something pops into your head...you can write it down immediately.

Lists are a great thing!!
Think about it this way......would you pack for a trip a month in advance? No, so deep breath there.
How far in advance do you plan a party? Already have the place taken care of, so relax there. Then just write down the elements of the wedding and rehearsal that need to be done with a timeline and follow through. You don't have to worry about working full time so relax, you can do this.

Yep, you guys are right... I can do this without freaking totally!!! LOL I do need to get out all the stuff for the "reception" and go through it, since we won't be using all of it. I sent an email to the hotel last night to see if we could have a sort of after party there, b/c none of the restaurants I've called have private rooms for us to use. So I think we'll just go to dinner and can then hopefully have a little something set up at the hotel, hopefully around the pool, to do the cake and maybe the first dance, etc. Keep your fingers crossed that they'll be able to accomodate or can suggest another place that will!!! I was thinking of getting some galvinized buckets to put some Corona, a bottle or two of wine and some champagne in. I made sure to stress that this isn't a wild group, so they won't have to worry about hooting and hollering around the pool late!! LOL

I hope you have a "gopher" to do that kind of stuff for you, you'll be busy enough getting married. lol

You might not be able to bring outside liquor in because of liquor laws, but maybe they could set up a little bar for you? or even let you bring it in, but you pay a corkage fee.

Florida's pretty lax in the liquor law dept., at least in what I'm thinking, a few drinks by the pool. Going to call the hotel in a bit and see what they have to say. They have a bar there, I think, so I'll also see about having them set it up.

Good luck with the planning and have fun while doing it. I'm sure you are fine. Lists are what gets me through the day! lol Catagorize them will help I'm sure.
Odd that none of the restaurants had private rooms? I'm sure the hotel must have something. :)

Stay calm! I am so excited for you, and I am hoping that I will be able to drop by for a little while. I am not sure yet because of the wedding that I have the next day, but I am still checking into it. I will let you know later if I can.

edited to add: the reason the wedding the next day is a problem is because we have the rehearsal that night, and I still have to work that Friday, so I have to leave after work to go to the rehearsal.

It would be awesome to finally meet you in person, but I understand how hectic things can be, especially since you have to work that day... boo hiss!!
How long is the drive to St. Aug for you?

I am hoping that it will only take about 2 hours. I am not exactly sure where the hotel and all that we will be staying at is, so I am hoping that it is pretty easy to get there.

What time are you getting married again? You are getting married in Jacksonville, right? That is only about an hour and a half from here, and is on the way to St. Augustine, so I am hoping that I can stop in and say hey even if it is only for a second. Like I said, as soon as I know more, I will let you know and get more details from you.
