Up early again today. :rolleyes: Picking my mom up and running our errands. Hoping to get back early so I can get my house picked up for company tonight. Seeing we didn't get to celebrate Dawn's birthday last week, were doing it tonight. Can't wait to see Sarah again...

Dh and I are going to go check out the "indoor park" dd found for her wedding. I heard it's gorgeous. Can't wait to see it. Called a caterer yesterday and got that booked. September will be here before you know it. LOL

I've been awake since 3:00 and no chance of a nap today. Stupid sinus stuff is driving me nuts. Feels like I've got an elephant sitting on each cheek and my teeth hurt. So much for oil of oregano! :rolleyes:

We're heading out this afternoon to do miniature golf with some friends and their two dd's, then coming back here for a bbq. I'm hoping to get the kitchen and bathroom floors mopped before we go, but maybe I can sweet talk dh into doing it. :* :lol:

You two might have that miserable thing I do! I had it since Monday and I was convinced yesterday I had a sinus infection. I was too cheap to go see the doctor about it and thank goodness I didn't. It started to clear up last night and it was the first night in 4 nights that I wasn't congested, hacking up goop, sore throat, sinus pressure and the headache. My sinuses don't hurt as much today and my sore throat is gone. Drink lots of water!

Ugh, my mom had the same stuff. She got it while we were in the mts. She slept all they way home and then stayed in bed for 3 days. She is still living on ucalyptus (sp?) drops but it's finally getting better. Hope ya'll feel better!

Dh has gone to the store (has a craving for buffalo wings) and then picking up dd who slept over with a cousin @ my step-sister's house. We'll just hang out here, in the rain, I guess. Laundry is in the hall, and not jumping in the washer voluntarily, so I guess I have to give it a shove.

Just crawled out of bed. :) Have lots I want to get done today. A new store opened that I want to check out. (Anyone have Gordmans in their area?) Also feeling like I should stop at the Y and get caught up on some stuff - we'll see how motivated I get with that. lol

Did you try those Breathe Right strips? I'm tellin' ya, they work for a stuffy nose and df has stopped snoring, too! :yippee:

Jen and Karla, you have the same type of laundry as me! Why the heck can't it do SOMETHING for it's self?!!! :lol: I actually just got a load in, and another out of the dryer, guess I'll have to fold it @#$%&*!!! LOL
Finishing stuffing all of the OOT bags, I think I have everything, now I just need to find some place to put them until we leave!!! Not much else planned except for finding cement shoes to keep us grounded with the gale force winds we have going on today!!!

Morning all. We are all up, fed, one out the door with my mom to Brandon Winter Fair...to see all the horses! Ds is outside literally floating (in the canoe) in our yard and down the ditch. Middle dd has a friend over and they are into the Harry Potter lego.

Heading to work at the auction sale right away. Hauling dh along cause there are a few things I think he could use, so he can bid on them while I work in the office.

No plans for tonight.

Raining here, much better than the snow they said we were getting. Going to look at sofa's soon. Not much else, floor washing tonight. Maybe some laundry. Movie with dh later.
I finally ordered a slow cooker from sears. Looks like a good one.

Everyone is awake, bathed, dressed, fed...now what? lol I need to go to Blockbuster, finish laundry (doing bedding today), put away the kids summer clothes I untoted yesterday.

Brichard and I saw Hitch yesterday. It was an excellent movie. He said he really enjoyed it even though it is a chick flick...lol The relationship dynamics were neat, though I didn't much care for Will Smith's love interest, not a good actress (at least in this role.)

I passed my final therory test in community nursing so I can go on to to clinical on Friday. I'm suppose to have my Pysch clinical next week but I can't seem to set up the interview. The charge nurse says that my partner and I need to meet with the director and the directors say I need to meet with the charge nurse. AAAHHHH!

Anyway... I need to go get some professional clothes at Good Will because I've gained 10 pounds and the ones I have in my closet are too tight.

Went to the residence life staff appreciation brunch today and I'm glad I did. Not only did I get a gift of recognition for my contributions to the team, even though I just started this job in Feburary but I got to see one of the residence assistants I worked with when I was on the residence desk win a prestigious award and a $300 cheque. I was so happy for her.

Going out to dinner and a charity casino with BIL/SIL tonight. DS is going to a birthday party.

We finally bought a new sofa today. Actually, two sofas and the chaise. Didn't want the loveseat, almost the same price anyhow. It's microfibre and it's RED!!. I love it and can't wait for it to come in 6 weeks. I did compromise a tad on style, wasn't what I was aiming for but it is very comfy. :)

There is a Gordmans in Grand Island. I've gotten some cute clothes for the kids there before. If you can catch a good sale, you can get some neat stuff.

I'm so tired right now I might fall asleep.

We had our bike a thon today. I think we had about 25-30 kids riding. I haven't counted up the money yet, so I don't know how we did. It was really windy and I think that took a lot out of us, but overall it was a nice day.

Weather is supposed to continue to be nice through next week. Even 80-85 next week!! :yippee:

dd #2 has her candle service tomorrow and then her first communion is in 3 weeks. They are having a dinner after Mass tomorrow. Used to always just be coffee and donuts. I really don't see the need for a meal since in 3 weeks we will all be having dinners with our families again at our own houses.

I've almost dozed twice just since typing this post. Good night!
