Flower ideas

We have a small presentation and our preschoolers has been assigned to be as 'flowers'. They don't have any costumes but we have to make them look as 'big flowers.' Any cute or unique ideas on how to make them look as 'flowers', what kind of flower, and materials to be used and how to attached to them. One idea that i have is to make a big flower out of colored paper to be attached to each of them but do you have ideas on how to attached such paper flower to the children.

All ideas are appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Here are a few ideas...I cannot explain myself very well, but maybe you can get the idea of what I am trying to say...hope you can find something that works:


Headbands with the flower petals (look at a craft store for plain plastic headbands); if they could all wear green tops/pants, then you could make construction paper or poster board leaves to attach to their arms (with a poster board band -- like a handle, but wrapped around their arm)

You could take large sheets of green paper (like used on bulletin boards) to make a vest-like garment (think the old "sandwich board" advertising), then glue flowers onto the fronts of the "vests"
