A few weeks ago ds lost his first tooth. Well, I decided to let dh play the Tooth Fairy roll. I thought he did a fine job until yesterday ds comes walking out with his tooth in a plastic baggie and says, "Mom, why am I finding my tooth in Daddy's dresser?" I was caught totally off guard, and did not know what to say. Where this came from I do not know, but I told him that it was from our dog. I explained to him that they loose their teeth just like he did, and that one of her's was on the floor so we saved it. He is a pretty smart cookie, but he accepted my story!! When dh got home I told him he was fired!! The drawer he decided to store the tooth (since this is his first I wanted to save it) in is the same drawer where we keep the batteries, and ds seems to need batteries for something at least once a week!!

That is too funny, but good answer. One Christmas, my cousin woke up to find my aunt cleaning up wrapping paper. He was awoke by the cat that she had accidentally hit. The cat of course yelped. My cousin was confused as to why his mom was wrapping presents and cleaning up paper. He thought that Santa brought the presents. Well my aunt being the fast thinker, told him that Santa had wrapped the presents, but when Santa got up, he stepped on the cat's tail, and it woke her up. Since she knew that Santa was a busy man, she offered to clean up after him. It worked, and he was bummed that he missed Santa.

How funny!!!:lol::lol::lol:
I remember once when I was small I put my tooth under my pillow and in the morning found a $1.00 bill as well as my tooth. I was so excited I rushed down to tell my mom. I thought maybe the 'tooth fairy' wouldn't notice if I put it under again the next night since she forgot it, and I would get another surprise. didn't work. The next morning I just found a thank you note saying "Thanks for taking good care of this tooth for me until I could get back and pick it up. My bag was so full last night I couldn't carry it. Love the Tooth Fairy"

How funny!! Ds asked if he put what he thought to be the dog's tooth under his pillow if I thought he could get anymore money.... I told him I didn't think so, the Tooth Fairy is pretty smart!!
