Do any of your dks have this stuff? My girls love it. They have been saving up for the big dollhouse and got paid today by our friends whose cats they took care of over the weekend. So they finally got the dollhouse!! We had told them that if they raised half, we would pay half. It took me 2 hours to put it together but it is so cool. Really expensive stuff but I just think it is so wonderful, they played with it for 4 hours straight without so much as a squabble.

Anyone else like the stuff?

My ds has an ambulance. It has too many little tiny pieces for my liking. It is excellent quality though. My SIL loves the stuff!

I would love to get some of it for my ds's. I think it's usually better to get better quality stuff that will last and hold your child's interest and imagination than think your saving money on cheap stuff that will break and eventually not get so much as looked at. Let me know how you like it??? I am looking for good toy ideas too...

Doll houses are so much fun. Wish I had a little girl so I could get one...lol

I used to only see it in those "educational shops." I noticed that Walmart had some the other night. You can find it in the same places you find "Thomas the Tank Engine" and "Brio."

I love Playmobil!!!! My ds was so into it when we was little..the pirate ship, the zoo, the fort....oh such memories!!
DD never really liked things like that.

We get ours at an educational shop called Kids Can Do. However I just noticed it at Toys R us. They have a website: www.playmobil.com

It is german like Lego but much more intricate and detailed with lots of characters and stuff. It really is wonderful stuff, a great investment.

ds has the pirate ship. It keeps him amused for hours.
My dk's have a lot of the little tykes and fisher price things. They last forever too. Some of the fisher price things they have were mine or dh's when we were young and will likely last a few more generations at the rate they are going.
