I just talked to the mom and gave her the letter this morning. I was going to do it tonight to not ruin her day at work, but tonight there might be more people around (kids and other parents). This morning it was just me and her. She started to get a little teary eyed and acted like she understood, but who knows what she was actually thinking. I feel better now...

I had given the mom the name and # of a provider I knew who could take him. The mom called her this morning and set up an interview for next week. The provider said the mom didn't seem mad. That's a relief. We'll see how she acts towards me tonight when she picks him up.
