Ds #1 graduated from preschool today. It was so cute. They had the caps and gowns, sang songs with special glow in the dark gloves on, and then there was a slide show of the kids playing together throughout the year. :) I'm so glad I brought kleenex! I'm really going to miss him next year in kindergarten. They sure do grow up fast.

How sweet!! Let me tell you it doesn't get any easier. Last year I cried for about the first week when ds went off to Kind. I thought I would be ok this year, but left him for first grade wiping away tears. Dh says that when it comes time for our children to go off to college I will have to be sedated.

Congrats to your ds! :yippee: Sounds like a neat graduation ceremony! :)

My oldest has one year of preschool left and I know I'll have a hard time and miss him when he's off to kindergarten, too. angie r (along with many others here) has a little one off to kind. this fall, too so you will all have to share stories. Be sure to lean on all of us this fall and pass on tips to me so I can survive it when my ds gets to that point. :( Hang in there!

My dd just graduated from preschool too. Thank goodness our camcorder is one that I have to hold up to my eye so no one noticed the tears.

I get to go through this the next two years too. When my youngest goes to Kind. I'll probably be a blubbering idiot!
Congrats to your ds!!

Thanks everyone, I was very proud. :) We did bring the camcorder and ds has watched himself graduate about twenty times already. He really likes to make movies so maybe he'll be the next Spielberg LOL

congratualations to ds. Always a proud moment for Mom, as her little one gets his/her first diploma.
