After attending a T-ball game that my students were playing in, dh informed me that he had heard at work that there was some young man who lived near the ballpark who was standing in his window nude. He was even leaving notes at the ballpark (presumably in the dugouts) for the girls to look for him.
I asked a fellow teacher who is on city council if she had heard anything about it. Well, it turns out that it is the same young man who about 2 years ago (he was about 16 then) was found in the girls bathroom in the elementary. He said that he was being homeschooled and was out riding his bike when he needed to go to the bathroom. He had taken the "boys" and "girls" sign off the doors and just sat it there. No one knows how long he was there. A student reported it to a 4th grade teacher. She watched the bathroom for a long time and when it was clear he wasn't using the facilities, she called him out. Teachers and parents who heard about it were outraged. Principal bought the story and didn't even recognize the red flags.
We now have a new superintendent and we keep all but the front doors locked. I guess we need to keep our eyes open for this little pervert again.

Stories like these are so scary!! Hopefully he'll be caught before having a chance to pull anything else! I am glad precautions are being taken, but it's so sad that we even have to worry about stuff/people like this.

He deserves much more correction if he is obviously continuing these things...

You're not kidding... what a creep!!! This guy really needs help!!! It really creeps me out knowing that their are people like this on the loose out there... and their getting away with this kind of behavior. I hope they catch him and then maybe he'll get the help he needs. (as if that will help???)

I hope that they catch him soon. He needs some very serious mental help.

I couldn't agree with you more, but I'm afraid that if they allowed that he wouldn't come out alive... OR, he'd be minus a few things he walked IN there with. LOL

Just too many 'creeps' around these days. I don't know how the principal could let him away without even looking into the situation. He obviously didn't have a daughter in the school or if he did, he can't be much of a father. This man sounds like he is crying out for attention. Let's pray he gets caught before something dreadful happens. Maybe then he will get the help he obviously needs. Stories like these just make my blood boil.:(:grimace::{
