Just wondering what some of you are doing for themes in March. In the past, I've done colors leading into rainbow and then to the pot of gold for St. Patrick's Day.

March is a great month for themes related to spring. This could include kites - diamond shape, the wind, rain cycle and the color green. In addition, March 2 is Dr. Suess birthday so you could do a theme with one of his books- Green eggs and ham. Hope this helps!

This week will be Dr. Seuss. I still haven't thought any farther than that yet. Thanks for your thoughts.

My center uses the theme "Searching For Science" for the whole month of March. Each week the teachers choose a science related theme such as dinosaurs, space, light, or animals.. I enjoy this, I also incorporate the traditional St. Patrick's Day, theme. I also devote a week to rain and rainbows.

We are using the themes: Pets, Leaping Leperchauns, Spring Surprises, and Spring Weather. Don't know if this will be of much help to you.
