Good morning. I am tired, stayed up late to watch Hell's Kitchen. It comes on at 8 but if I miss it I can watch again at midnight. Love that show.
Going to finish ds3's room today, not much left in there. The boys had toy bins in there and going through it all piece by piece is not picnic with all the tiny pieces of lego and k'nex. I can't stand just tossing it all in a toy box though.
Kitchen duty today, floors really need to be washed.
Sunny and nice, not sure if it will be as hot as they say it will be. I need heat! lol
Hope you all have a good one :)

My poor dd is sick with a temp, aches, stuffed nose, sneezing and a sore throat. I am going to keep her home today and shower her with lots of TLC! :nurse:

It is suppose to be a beautiful day! I am going to try and be outdoors as much as possible!

Beautiful day here! Dropped dd at the golf course for lessons then we're off in search of the perfect flower girl dress AGAIN. Dd gets free range balls at the course the day of her lesson, so I imagine it won't take much arm twisting to get dh to take her back this evening. hee hee

Melody, I can't STAND Hell's Kitchen. It's so staged and vulgar, I just don't think that "chef" needs to be so nasty. But, glad you like it. LOL!!

Amy, sorry dd is sicky. Hope she feels better soon.

Ann, whew! Didn't realize your dd was in two shows at the same time! Wish her luck for me and enjoy!!!

Morning all! Another hot day in store...good thing most of my day will be inside. Have 2 dd's with needed attitude adjustments....this parenting thing needs to come with built in vactions!

On a brighter note...it is our anniversary today! :yippee: 19 years. We had our celebration last week with the lobster supper and dance, so no plans for today.

I am at my out of town school all week, so best get on the road so I can make it there by 9.

Happy anniversary, Darlene!
Mel and Jen, enjoy your day!
Amy, hugs to your dd!
Ann, back to reality :goofy:

Lazy morning here. I am going to Curves M-W-F mornings so on T-Th I don't have to get out of bed so soon. My fist dck's are supposed to be here at 7:30 so I have some time to spare. Need to get laundry going for the day. I should be getting inspected this month and I'd really just like her to come and get it over and done with. I hate the waiting and wondering when she'll show up. Tonight Real World Austin starts and it looks like a wild and crazy season. Not sure if I'll stay up that late to watch it or if I'll watch it sometime tomorrow at a decent time.

Darlene- Happy Anniversary!
Ann- is there time for her to breathe build in? Tell her to break a leg for me.
Amy- hope dd feels better soon.
Bev- hope ds does well today.
Jen- didn't any of the other dresses work?

A lot of people up and at it this morning. Just finished my first cup of coffee. I haven't slept well for 4 nights in a row. I'm sure to be a bitch today. Went to bed at 12:00, became itchy so I finally got up at 1:00 took tylenol and benedryl, watched VH1 (wild shows on at that time of the morning!), went back to bed at 2:30, dh thinks sex will help-I smacked the **** out of him, finally fell asleep sometime after 3:00, had to go to the bathroom at 7:00, back to bed before I fully wake up and dh again thinks I need sex-it wasn't pretty, he got up and he and ds went to the squash patch. I tried to go back to sleep but by then it was no use.

On a more pleasant note:

Amy sorry dd is sick. I thought you guys were out already and ds was in summer school.

Ann, I wish I could get ds into theatre. He'd be great! Our community theatre just put on Oklahoma. One cast member was a senior and the rest were junior high students. A little girl from our church was the lead. It was fantastic.

Darlene, Happy anniversary.

I've got to clean today. Not looking forward to it. We cleaned the church building last night and that was a chore. The couple that is supposed to help us this month didn't make it. Just checked the weather and this week is supposed to be in the mid to upper 90's with high humidity. Welcome summer!!

How's Haven doing? I went to bed thinking about her last night.

Thanks..keeps her off the streets! ;) July will seem really dull for her till she goes to camp. She's just an orphan in the "food glorious food" number so it's not a real challenge.

I got up early to go for my walk, then took my mom to the grocery store. Since I no longer have my 3 mornings off a week... I have to try to schedule a time that fits for both her and I. Dh and dd stayed home and watched the dck's until I got back home. :)

We had a bad storm yesterday in the afternoon... blew over a bunch of tree's in the area, luckily none of ours. We did loose a lot of large limbs though.
Were suppose to have more storms this afternoon, but I'm hoping they're not as severe as yesterday's.

Not much more on the agenda. I'm hoping to have a calm, noneventful day.

Diane...

Hell froze over last night, so if ya felt the chill, it was my doing! LOL

I swore up and down that I would never own a minivan. Well, dh took me to the Honda dealership last night "just to show" me the Odyssey. I took it for a test drive and was hooked! It drives sooo much better than my Tahoe did, and I love all the convenient options it comes with. And it gets 28 mi/gal, which is wayyy better than my Tahoe got. Dd is hyped about all the hidden compartments it has too. lol I have to take it back to the dealership today to let them detail it and install the DVD player. They weren't able to do that last night because it was past closing time when we finished.

I dunno why I was so insistent on not getting one before. I have seen the light! lol I guess now I'm a "soccer mom" in every sense of the word. :goofy:

We must be still feeling the effects up here (it's not as warm out as I thought)...

Congrats on the new van!

Beth, I think we felt it here, but it was this morning! The CA sun has melted it all though.

Glad you like your new minivan. We've never wanted one, but did look (back in 1997) at them for about 1-2 hours. We decided against it. With wanting to have another baby, you just might need one. We knew we only wanted 2 kids, so we didn't feel like we really had to have one.

lol I am so ready to trade in my mini van for a car again! I won't be able to do without something with at least 7 seats for a while though. I wish I had 8 or 9!

I had my hair highlighted this morning. The girl I go to fixed into some weird 80's do?! Oh well, it'll be fine when I get it washed.

We ripped out all our carpet last night and tomorrow the laminate is being installed. Tonight we have to move all the furniture out.

I'm off to pick up ds and dn from science camp.

Jen- didn't any of the other dresses work?

One looked like it might. I emailed it to the bride and she said she'd be happy with it. BUT, I found it at an online store, so I wanted to see if I could find it here to order or at least try on, but no luck. No luck today either. I've got to get this done if I order from a bridal shop and I don't like feeling rushed or doing this on my own either. :(

Ann, good luck to your dd. Sounds like a busy girl this week.
Kat, sorry you had a cranky night. Men, go figure. LOL
Darlene, happy Anniversary! :)
Amy, sorry dd is sick. ((hugs)) to her.
Beth, welcome to the club. When we got this one in Dec. I tried so hard to buy a car. I didn't want another mini van since the last one was terrible. I love this one though. It's 8 passenger and I've used the space. Love it.
Angie, be glad it's just the style and it's not pink. :biglaugh:
