I mean it!! I have been strapped to this contraption for days now. Im not doing things I SHOULD be doing and getting very lazy. And surfing doesn't make me feel any better. It an ugly cycle. Does anyone feel the same way at times?

Tomorrow morning, after I check in here (LOL), Im turning it off. If I get bored, then maybe I'll even do a load of laundry! LOL Maybe I'll even lie on the sofa and listen to music. hmm.... I wonder if I can do it for a whole day....Wish me luck

Good luck! I was on here a lot today and was thinking I should do the same thing. I basically only check in here, but sometimes do feel like I should be doing other things instead. Ugh! I guess I look at it as my little breaks. I do spend lots of time with my dks and get stuff done around the house, so I think checking in here helps break up my day and gives me a little time for me throughout the day. Don't be too hard on yourself Amy. You've got a lot going on right now and deserve time for you. :) I know what you mean though about feeling like you're on here too much. When I look at the number of posts I have I feel like a pathetic loser who needs to get a life! LOL!

And you get on me for "driving by"?! LOL Yes, I know how addictive it is, and yes, my ironing never did get done today! Life does get in the way of being online and sometimes we have to let it - unfortunately! :goofy:

Good Luck tomorrow! I'll try to post to you! ;)

What is this???!!!! You trying to send us on some kinda guilt trip or something??!!! :sillyface I know what you mean. Those days seem to come more frequently for me lately. It's time to buckle down and get back to business. Although a day on the couch sounds promising! A few :snickers:, a lil' :munch:, a good movie and I'm set for oh, gee, all of twenty minutes!

Maybe we need to post daily goals or something. 'Course, POSTING it might just defeat the purpose. Once I get started on here it's hard to get away again! :)

I know I spend way to much time on here, but it is fun. I did manage to get 2 hours of cleaning done this evening, so I do feel better about that. Even gave the dog a bath, but it took an hour to get her groomed. Dh was complaining about her tail dragging in trash (he does the vacuuming) so I cut 4 inches off it. Poor thing just doesn't look the same. She's a hairy little shih tzu. He wanted me to trim her up some more, but I thought I'd leave that to the professionals.

Amy, laundry, what's that? Ds complained the other day about not having any clean socks. I went to Wal-mart and bought 2 new pkgs. Now that's awful.

Go to bed at 9??? I can't remember the last time I went to bed that early (maybe last time I had the flu or something! ) I'm lucky to make it by midnight. LOL

Amy,
know how ya feel. I try really hard not to be on too long, but I still don't get anything done around here--could be that I'm not home long enough to get good and dirty! LOL

The only time I would feel guilty about being on the computer is if I had a lot of other things that needed to be done and I wasn't doing them BECAUSE I was on the computer, and that's usually not the case so... I look at my computer time as my "REWARD" for getting everything done. During the day I sneak in here in between the kid's many projects... and I call that "sanity" time. LOL Sometimes I swear... if I didn't have this board to come to on and off throughout the day... I'd go nuts! LOL Also... if I wasn't on the computer I'd probably be doing what dh is doing... and that's watching TV so... what's the difference? LOL During the summer now I'm assuming I'll probably be spending a lot more time outside but... when I have the time I'm definitely going to come here and catch up on what is going on with everybody else. LOL

Diane...

Kat, that is hillarious about the socks.

I have been really good at getting the housework done this last week. And somehow I have managed to post more often than I have in ages.

I won't be on much on the weekend if at all. The kids and I are off to MIL's house while dh and a gang of people stay here and do the roof.

Hopefully my housework will still be caught up when I get back and I can catch up on Monday.

I breezed in last night!! Doesn't that count?? LOL

Im actually having an awesome day here. Its only 70 degrees and everywhere I shop, I am finding unbelievable clearance prices on things I want!! Im just giddy! Ds has been an angel while I shop, so he said he wanted soup for lunch (his name for chinese food-he likes hot and sour soup) and he ate really well and was well behaved. So Im enjoying a love affair with my ds today!! :)
