Good Friday morning. Expecting rain later today but I guess that's o.k. There's an Italian-fest this weekend and we might check it out tonight. I have errands to run at lunch; need to pick up a baby shower gift for Sunday, pay car insurance, get decorations for a 25th anniversary party for my sister and BIL tomorrow night. Their anniversary was on the 28th, so it should be a surprise that something's on tomorrow.

Bev- is the party for your sister that wanted her kids to throw her a party?

Slept in a little bit and I'm still tired. Went to bed late and didn't sleep all that great. Keep thinking about all the things I need to do before we leave in the morning. I have an easy day- just my 3 little girls. I think one is going home early but I'm not 100% sure. need to pack, do laundry and get the house cleaned up. I also have a dc meeting tonight. So much to do, so little time. I'll try and pop back on later today, if not I'll be back next weekend.

I "might" have the day off today... the mom just called to see if her dh had dropped their little girl off yet. He hadn't... she said her dh is home today and she had a feeling he might keep her home with him. Well....... I'm wondering why that wouldn't be a given seeing he's home. LOL Oh well... keeping my fingers crossed. I wouldn't mind having another day off. LOL

Got up early and went for my walk, saw and stopped at a garage sale on the way back. I've got a bit of laundry to do and I need to finish triming the bushes at the side of the house. I do it during the day when dh isn't home because he doesn't like the bushes being trimmed... thinks I should just leave them alone. Ugh... LOL If I end up with the day off I'm going to run to Kohl's, they have 50% off sale on all of there swim suits and I could use a new one.

Mom's night out with us tonight. It's been two weeks so I'm sure she's looking forward to it. :) I'm hoping it won't end up being too late... one of the neighbor's invited us to come over later and I'd really like to go. :) We'll see...

Anyway... hope you all have a good day!

Diane...

No, a different one. I have two sister's celebrating their 25th this year. The other sister's was in February.

Got dd packed and sent off yesterday with my mom. They're going to the Mason Rodeo again. The house seems empty without her, and I'm missing her already. :(

I have a ton of housework to finish today. The house was completely torn up from having lots of people over during the holiday weekend. Having friends over tonight for a movie and games. We're going to watch "Hide and Seek"...looks scary!

Have a great day all!

Youngest ds had 2 teeth pulled today. :\ I just hate that his first experience with losing a tooth was having the dentist do it. Dh took him and said he was a trooper. The dentist thinks this may be a regular thing for him. :bawling:

Need to get off of this darn computer and stop procrastinationg. DD's baptism is this wknd and we have a house full starting tomorrow and I literally have NOTHING done and my house is a disaster. :tearhair:

JAK - Have fun while you're gone!!! :)

I'm so sorry that your ds had a rough dentist appointment. When my oldest ds had his first dental appointment (age 3, I think), they found a tiny cavity. They decided to fill it right then and there (didn't need too much novacaine). I think I was more traumatized than ds. Ever since then, I make dh take the kids to the dentist. Isn't that silly? I do the doctor...he does the dentist. Does your ds have teeth growing in behind his baby teeth?

Have fun this weekend with your dd's baptism. How fun! Are you using the same baptismal gown that you used with your boys?

If I had a girl, I'd most LOVE to put those little bows/headbands on her...I'd be dressing her up all of the time. They make such CUTE little girl clothes!!

Evening all. What a long day...and not done yet! Did Curves this morning/shopping. My sister/niece arrived. I loaded up me and six kids and heading to the lake for the afternoon. Did some yardsales....supper....we are in the process of tearing our roof off...please cross your fingers that it doesn't rain for the next few days!

It is still HOT here and the mosquitoes are thick. Thank goodness there is a bit of a breeze this evening.

Break is over....back to the roof!

Karla, enjoy the baptism! I'm sure she'll be an angel and it'll be exciting to have everyone there. :) Sorry your little man had to have the dentist pull his teeth. Does the tooth fairy leave a little extra for the 'trauma'? ;)

Fern, I missed the details on your outing. I hope you had a great time!

Beth, I'm shipping DH off for a week next week! LOL He's hiking more of the Appalachian Trail so it'll just be me and dd. I'll miss him muchly but plan on getting stuff done around here.

Jen, I missed where you were off to, but I hope it's a good trip! :)

Ann, hope the kids have good trips. :)

We all slept in today after a terrible storm last night, thanks to hurricane Cindy. Took dd to a sleepover and I went to work. Dh and poked around Target and WalMart for some things for his hiking trip. That's it for a wild Friday night w/out a kid. LOL

I was so relieved that dh took ds to the dentist!! Like you, I think I would have been more traumatized than him! LOL! I'm taking dd to the dr for her shots this week, so I think the dentist experience was a fair trade for dh. ;) He actually volunteered for the dentist!! :thumb: Guess that could be due to his needle phobia though. :chicken:

Baptism went well. My mom bought the baptism outfits for all of my dks. Boys had little short type outifts and dd had a gown. All had the same blanket though. :tinysmile

Dd hasn't had any bows or headbands on....yet. :) I have a friend who has a dd who is almost 2 and I don't think I have ever seen her without one. LOL It has been fun to shop for a girl - thought my boys had a lot of clothes....dh says we've had a pink explosion here. :D

Thanks! It was fun and she was as good as can be....except for a few little peeps to let her presence be known. LOL!
Yep, the toothfairy was extra nice - I am such a softie. :)
