Has anyone ever lined their crock pot with foil before cooking?

I just spent too much time scrubbing off pork roast and thought I could line the thing today, but being gone all day, it'd be my luck I'd do that and the house would burn down. lol

I don't line mine, but have never had to scrub it either. However, when I cook ham in my crockpot, I wrap it in tinfoil so I'm sure you could line your crockpot if you so desire :)

I spray mine with "no stick" stuff (Pam, Mazola). Haven't had anything stick.

Use those oven roasting bags instead.

Non-stick spray is what I always use. The roasting bag is a great idea, I love those things!

I've never had a problem with anything sticking in mine either. :) I'm not too sure about the foil either but I'd probably do what Ann suggested and try the roasting bags. I hope you find something that works... :)

It was just the gravy part that had sorta stuck to the sides.... I soaked it, and washed it but had to use a Brillo pad finally.

Like the roasting bag idea, but didn't have any. I did spray it with Pam though.

Thanks ya'll!
