Think I'll just do some cleaning and Phone calls. Should go to walmart...Just have to be careful....my back was really bad yesterday...better today.

Good morning! Not much going on today. I got the laundry completely caught up last night, w/the help of ds who put 5 baskets full away. I need to clean the floors downstairs. I'd really like to get out but I don't want to spend any money and it's too hot to go to the park. :(

Dd#1 starts cheerleading tonight, she is on the Buccaneers(?) I am so glad that my neighbors son in playing for that team and her dd is cheerleading for it too. It will come in handy if I need help since Brichard won't ever be home for any of the games.

I don't think my inlaws are coming for dinner tonight, but they did offer to keep the kids since they are keeping Brichard's sister's kids. Hmmm, that actually sounds pretty good!

Got up and went to Curves this morning. It's supposed to be 105 again. :rolleyes: Is Fall coming any time soon? Just have the 2 girls and screamer boy today. Only have him 3 days this week and they are moving to Japan. His mom is trying to clean the house for inspection. Have to run a bunch of errands tonight and that's about it.

We have been hooked on the Amazing Race for the past several weeks. On Game Show Network they are playing the repeats starting from season 1. It's on every night and I have been TiVoing it. So far we are up to the first show of season 3. I think we have only watched the last 2 seasons as they aired. It's been so fun to watch them as we love the show. Is anyone else watching? Also, does anyone know if (from Season 2) Tara (that had Will as a partner, they were the seperated couple) started dating the guy from the winning team (can't think of their names- 2 guys that were life time friends from Boston)? How's that for a question!? :lol:

Jen, I'd love to watch the first few seasons of AR again. I hated watching Zack and Flo (?) in one of the seasons, but then was glad they won in the end. She sure had it rough, didn't she, lol?

Morning all! What a night! It was so hot yesterday and a massive storm blew in late in the evening...thunder...awsome lightning...which was neat to watch. But at 12:35 it started to sound funny outside so we went to the window....HAIL! Oh and was it hail....golf ball size! It lasted approx. 5 min and when it was done, dd went outside and collected some which we put in the freezer. Our van is dented up and lots of branches down. I haven't looked at the roof yet. :rolleyes:
We are supposed to get away on our holiday tomorrow...best get in gear and get packed!

We just took ds1 to the bus stop. :bawling: It doesn't get any easier! He's been on cloud 9 all weekend, lol and this morning about five minutes before we left he started to complain that his stomach hurt. :lol: Poor babe. He's never had a nervous stomach before, but I hope that's all it is this time!

Dd2 saw a tarantula in the middle of our street last night, so she had her friend's dad stop so she could shoo it off to the side. :rolleyes: Then when we were walking ds1 to the bus stop we saw two dead snakes on the road. 8o ACK! I'm totally of the good snake = dead snake school, but it creeps me out with all the stuff we've been finding around here lately (I still look out for Mesquite beetles!). I am soooo not a nature girl! :lol:

Nothing much on the agenda for today. It's hot and muggy already, so we'll probably stick close to home.

Morning! Taking it slow this morning but going to pick up dd's dress for the wedding.

Had to stop this posting in the middle since dh called to tell me my mom was looking for me. My step-father was taken to the ER last night. His pulse was near 200 and they think now he may have suffered a heart attack. He's in the hospital getting cardiac care and the kidney specialist is scheduled to see him too. I'm outta here to get dd taken care of then see him and do whatever mom needs done.

We went to St Cloud this wknd - sort of last minute. Dh's bball team was in a tourney and we decided to go. Dks had a blast and it was good to get away again. :) Shopped at a huge outlet mall on the way home, but wasn't that impressed. :\

Nothing planned for today. It's rainy here - I'd like to see the sun but shouldn't complain bcuz we really need the rain. It has been so dry and we haven't mowed in weeks!! Did some cleaning this morning and plan to get laundry done.

Only have one dcg today... dd's bringing Sarah at 11:15. I'm hoping she'll be tired and willing to take a good nap this afternoon, as I have a few things I really need to get done today. Were picking my mom up after work tonight and taking her out to look for a dress for dd's wedding. I feel so bad for her because nobody else will take her, so I'm hoping she'll find something. When dh and I were at Sear's yesterday I saw a few dresses in her size I thought she'd like/look good in... so hopefully she'll be coming home with one of them. If not... she's going to have to find someone else to take her out because after tonight, I'm just totally out of time. :( We've got to get together with the cateror some time this week so we can pick/choose what food we want served. We also have to go taste some cakes so we can decide on what we want for the wedding cake. :licklips:

Woke up to a bad storm this morning... lots of hail/rain... thunder/lightening. It stopped just long enough for me to be able to go out for my walk, so that was nice. I brought my umbrella... just in case. :) The sun is out now and it's already getting hot/humid. It's suppose to get close to 100 today.. Ugh. Thank God for air conditioning. LOL

Went to pick mom up @ the hospital and he'd had an eckorenalgram (?). Basically a scan of the kidneys to see if they are healthy enough to withstand the dye from the heart catherization they want to do. While there, they found he has gall stones!! He's not in any pain but will be in the hospital the better part of the week.

Mom is sorta out of it. She said when they were at the ER, she fell over a table. Ouch! She was really looking forward to being home and getting a good night's sleep last night.
