Congratulations to your ds and his team... I hope that they do well on Monday. Let us know!!!

I didn't know that your ds played the piano... I hope the recital goes well. How long has he been playing? I've ALWAYS wanted to play the piano... I'm SO envious!!! I hope it went well!

The recital went really well. He started playing last year at the beginning of 4th grade. He was SO nervous (bless his heart) he was playing the "Entertainer" by Scott Joplin, and he did just great, he messed up once but recovered just great..in fact no one would have noticed if you couldn't have seen his face!! LOL
We were very proud of him! He is going to add Violin next year at middle school ....the require all 6th grade students to do orchestra, band, art or choir....I think it is so great that he likes music!!

Congratulations to your ds's team!!! We actually lost a game in the bottom of the 6th inning yesterday and we were winning by 3 runs going into it! The coaches were so mad. Some of the other Moms have been bringing sandwiches, chips, cookies and drinks for the team's snack on double header days, so that's what I did. Well, we only had 10 minutes until the next game so the coach told the boys they didn't have time to eat a "full meal". I thought that was rude since I'd gone to all the trouble to bring it. The coach wouldn't even come over to get a Gatorade! It didn't help I'm sure, that my ds missed the catch that lost the game!

Donna...I HATE coaches like that!!!! This team has been really wonderful, the coaches are very upbeat..not acting like their salary is dependant on the team winning! LOL The parents have been great fun to be with too.

Karla...glad you approve! LOL He has wanted to play violin since Kindergarten when the were offering the Suzuki method, but I think it is really important to learn to read music, so I had him wait.

Glad the game went so well. Maybe you could send him up to Toronto for a bit to help out my Blue Jays. They started out ok but have hit a slump.

Figures he would come up with something like that as his sig.
Ghostbusters is one of his favorite movies. When it forst came out I think he went to see it about 6 times. We now own it on video and he watches it with ds a lot.
when ds was born he asked if we could name him Slimer:lol: I don't think so.
