wow...can I have your days....been up since 6:15...dbf was tossing all over. aleast I'm up and showered.

I feel like cr@p...got allergy shot yesterday but I have an appointment today with the new allergist....so I haven't taken benedryl... :bawling:
I also have my couselor today....stoping at the store and the library sometime to return over due books....Then work.

I convinced dbf to do dinner tonight....Simple hot dogs but I just tired of running in the door and cooking....Ok enough whining here...Is it friday yet?

We had some severe storms rip through here last night...and lots of people don't have power...sooooooo there's NO SCHOOL!!! :yippee: :yippee: We haven't had a "snow day" in over 4 years! My kids are just thrilled!! (Of course it's especially great because at my house (not in same town as school) we still have power, etc.) Of course, we'll have to make this day up at the end of the year...but I'll deal with those repercussions later! ;)

Dh's birthday today! It's a busy night for us (sports practices, etc.), so we did our celebrating last night.

Have fun at work, everyone! I'll just be sitting here enjoying my free day off!

for now : am having just regular rain/wind here. ophelia has not made landfall just the rain/wind has hit. it has finally moved up to moving at 6 mph; and since I am so far inland am just getting the outter bands of it. winds at the most has been up to 35; but has really stayed more between 5 to 15. just normal rain showers here, not even storm strength here.
hopefully will have a walk thru on the house come tues?? we hope. Bill is home for 2 weeks .. yea!!!! we are finishing some of the packing; he got our mailbox up yesterday out there schools/ colleges are closed from here to the coast; some daycares are closed. otherwise doing good.

Working 8:30-4:15 today. The kitchen lady asked me yesterday if I wanted to get together with her to discuss the design on Wed. or Fri. afternoon. I responded that if possible Wed. after work or Friday. She hasn't gotten back to me so I have no idea if I'm going tonight or not. Grrrr. Dinner at Dad's tonight also.

Ds3 has his yearly check-up today. Dh or I need to sign the older boys up for basketball tonight. I'll be glad when it starts, the kids love it.
It's sunny and breezy but hot/humid today. Not many days like this left.

Yes...ds 2's football is through Park and Rec, and ds 1's soccer is a league kind of thing. The weather is absolutely gorgeous here...and hoping most families have had their power restored by now. Some parents were angry that school was cancelled...(school had power, but some of our neighboring areas didn't. It was a decision many other schools made...but I'm sure our principal will get flack for it tomorrow. :rolleyes:

Okay.....I'm going to whine for a minute. I had to ride the 7am bus because our monitor was having problems. Then I had a training that finished at 12:30 instead of 3 (insert a little yahoo!). Then I had about 50 things that came up, makig a busy afternoon.....followed by a parent committee meeting. So I was at work from 7-7:15. Oh yes, and the new bus monitor starts tomorrow (okay they were BIG problems) and I have to ride with her at 7am again!!!

I love the beginning of the year. On the plus side I hired a new teacher! If she calls me back I can actually offer her the job. LOL
