I don't have to be a work till 10 so why did I wake up at 5?????????? grrrr
Work 10-4 today and it will be my last Saturday!! DD has a busy day. Barnes & Noble is having "Josefina's Birthday Party" (American Girl Club) at 11-1 and then she is going to a birthday party 2-6.
She had fun at her dance, but came home with an attitude...once of us is not going to survive her puberty!!!

How come I can't go back to sleep once I'm awake anymore??? Dh's watch alarm went off at 6 freaking thirty today. (insert smiley with steam coming out of ears)

Dd has golf lessons this afternoon and I've got to find my house under this mess; we're having lunch here tomorrow after dh's installation at church so I've got a lot of work to do.

Welcome to old age! LOL
Why did I think he had already been installed? What did you decide to serve?

We were up early this morning also. :) It looks like another beautiful day. I wish it had been this cool last week for dd's wedding instead of it being as hot as it was. Were going to my cousin's dd's wedding today. It isn't until 4:00 so we have most of the day to ourselves. I might go to Kohl's to get a new pair of dress pants. I think the shirt/jacket I bought would look better with a different pair that I saw there yesterday instead of a plain pair of black pants I was planning on wearing. Gotta see how $$ is first before I decide what to do.

Dd and her bf are out of town for the weekend so it's nice and quiet here. Of course were Ferret sitting, it's almost like having two 2 year olds here running/chasing each other all over the place. LOL I think I may clean out their cage... it's starting to smell a little raunchy.

Anyway... hope you all have a great day today!

Diane...

My bladder won't let me sleep bast 5:15. I refused to get up until 5:50 and that was because I knew the alarm was going to go off at 6:00. Dh then asked me to change it to 6:30. He has school on Saturday and needed to study for a test before he left. I never did get back to sleep.

Already finished up a bunch of dc paperwork and got the girl's stuff all packed up. They start at their new provider's house on Monday and I didn't pack it up yesterday before they left. I think I'll drop it off this morning on my way to Curves. Need to go grocery shopping today, although I'd rather not. Payday was just Thursday so it will be packed! UGH. Luckily I don't need much. With all the dck's I have been having we go through about a gallon of milk a day and I'm completely out.

Going to clean and go through more stuff today. Guess that's about it.

This waking up/not going back to sleep seems to be plauging us all! I've been awake since 5:30 and up since 6:20. We're waiting for a friend to drop off her dd around 8:00 and she'll pick her back up around 1:00 or so. Dh is talking about taking the kids for a hike down by the creek, but we'll see. No other plans for the day so far. I may get so bored I'll have to clean something! :nervous:

Hope ya'll have a great day! :)

I woke up with a sinus headache so bad that I was nauseous. I tried to work on my bible study but my head was just pounding. It's been almost 3 hours since I took some meds and I can feel it coming back already. It is cooler out today which is wonderful though!

I froze some of the raspberries we picked yesterday and made jam out of the rest. Tomorrow I go to work on the apples and maybe make a peach pie/cobbler if the kids don't polish off the peaches first!

Dd is cheering at a game today and I need to pick up a few things at the store. Laundry/pick up today, church tonight.

A friend just called and she is down the street on her way for a visit. Have a great saturday!!

Morning all, got to take the dog to the vet....and that is it...kids and I are heading out to the back yard for a couple of hours of relaxation...the weather has been so nice to just sit and enjoy.

I changed my hours at work, so starting monday I will be working 8:30 to 5:00....I am kinda excited by the change, that way I can take the kids to school, and DH will pick them up NO MORE CHILD CARE (except holidays and Summer) we should be able to take that $$ and get some debt paid off.
Plus I can sleep in a little each day too! Have some quality time in the morning with the kids....and maybe when I get to work they will actually realize that they have taken my constant being there for granted.

Making Spagetti and Meatballs for dinner, need to get some bread....might venture out to the supermarke after we hit the vet....

Have a great Saturday all....

Jak-when is the BIG MOVE?
Ann-Dance....oh my, with a boy?

Someone mentioned PIE?????? YUMMY

I am so tired! I went to Dicks Sporting goods to buy ds some new sneakers. What a nightmare! His feet had gotten so wide, that the only ones that would fit are skater sneakers. Forget Nike or Sketchers-he screamed that they were all tight. I come home to more freaking faxes. I actually need to pack the kids and get out of here before it drives me crazy. :heks:

Ann, you probably thought it was already done b/c I talked about it a while ago. hee hee

I had not planning ANYTHING for tomorrow, so this a.m I asked what he wanted and went shopping for it. Nothing fancy, he wanted chicken & rice (which I never make), rolls, veggies and a lemon chess pie. It'll just be a nice Sunday lunch. He gave me an attitude a while back about making a big deal out of the installation, so I ditched the invites to the friends and just asked our parents. Ends up being better for me anyway, I haven't been home long enough this week to 'do' anything and he tore the whole yard up today and planted new grass so it looks like crap over here anyway. LOL

Mom and I have a shower to go to tomorrow afternoon, so it's easy for me to take her and scoot out of here, leaving him with his parents. It's a win/win for me! ;)

Ok, gotta go. Started washing the outside of the windows with the Windex spray wash now it's time to do the back. Have to take my new vacuum back to Home Depot as the beater brush isn't turning. Have two leotards and another backpack (too small) to return to Target and W.M. (went to both today but did I remember my returns?? Uh no).

Is it ****tail hour yet?? I'm thinking some margaritas will be in order by this evening.

Jak-when is the BIG MOVE?

Still have a little while yet- we'll pack up our stuff the end of Jan. Leave here the beginning of Feb to go "vacation" with our parents/families until the end of Feb and then head over to Europe. :yippee: Only 14 more weeks of dc! That's the part I'm most looking forward to. Having my house back for a little bit before the packers come. I will miss dc to some extent (the kids), but my house is so much cleaner when I don't do dc. I'm looking forward to that part!

Heck, if I didn't have to pick up dd at a birthday party at 6, I would be having a glass of wine right now! LOL

sounds like a win/win for sure. how are you making your chicken? I have a really good kink of casserolish crockpot chicken and rice recipe that you could have cooking while you are at church if you want.

Surprisingly enough, AnnW, I'd like the recipe. I'm trying to be more realistic about how much time I have when I get home. This week I was great on Sun-Tues.....then it all went to he!!. LOL Next week I'm hoping to hold it together until Thursday at least. A new recipe may just help!

(The glass of wine is sounding good, too. ;) )

Coming in on the tail end of the day. I did sleep in. Dd woke me up a couple times but I managed to get back to sleep. I have more trouble getting to sleep at night.

Pretty productive day today. I started by cleaning up the kitchen, making cookies and sorting out a box of my grandma's tupperware. It's been in that box in my laundry room/hallway for over a year now (probably longer) and I decided to get rid of it. I got it washed up, now I just need to go through the cupboard where all our 'left overs' containers are and make room for these. I got side tracked waiting for dd #2 and ds #3 to clear the table and run the dishwasher after dinner/lunch. So, while I was waiting on that I sorted out boxes of good will clothes, boxes in the living room for the preschool and cleaned off the computer desk. The big tupperware box came in handy for all the crap I threw out of the living room!
I got sidetracked once again taking my dd #1 to a birthday party. When I got back we got ready for church, after church we did grocery shopping, got home, fixed supper and watched a movie.
So, the tupperware is in another, smaller, box waiting to find a home, the good will clothes are waiting for the good will truck to be in town, and the preschool boxes are waiting to be loaded in the suburban to be taken in.

Feels good though to get even a little bit done here instead of being at the preschool 24/7. I think I just needed a mental break from it all. I got a call yesterday from a lady that needs drop in care. The kicker is her son goes to the other preschool and that teacher (my old boss will pick up the boy and bring him back). My policy, although I've never had to use it, is that I charge families while their child attends preschool somewhere else since it's a direct competition. Where this is a drop in I feel like I shouldn't charge her and try to make her aware of the program I offer. UUGGHH!!! Maybe I should just quit and get a job where I don't have to think and analyze situations. LOL I worry too much!

Better get going to bed so I don't sleep the whole morning away.

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend. Sunday is almost here!
Nite!!
