Good morning! We survived yesterday! LOL
DS did great in baseball..fantastic at his piano recital and great fun on the church outing. DD had a friend spend the night and the spent most of it in the pool!!
Today the boys are going to the Astros game and dd has a birthday party.
Did have some bad news yesterday..we were driving down the freeway and my a/c wasn't really cooling and then all the sudden we start smelling burning plastic..shut down the a/c, call the mechanic and he says come in now! Looks like the compressor might have burnt out...and he says it could be a $1,000-$2,000 to fix!!!!!!! YIKES!!!!!! This really irks me cause there was no warning and the car only has 55,000 miles on it..grrrr

Glad to hear your ds did so well!

That's the total pits about the car! I hate it when vehicles don't run when they're supposed to. Hope you are able to get it fixed soon.

Looks like a peaceful day around here, so far. We may try to go fishing this afternoon if it doesn't rain. I hope to sneak in a nap somewhere.

It's sprinkling here this morning. We have a graduation party to go to this afternoon and I hope to do some packing, but that's about it.

Sorry to hear about your car Ann... the air conditioning went out in my van last week too, but no burning plastic smell. I'm trying to get dh to get it in to get fixed. He works right by the place that can fix it, so it's nice that all he would have to do is run across the street to pick it up after work... no inconvenience. We had it looked at and they said it would be around $300.00 to $350.00 to fix. Ugh!!! Not as bad as yours though so now I'm not feeling as bad. What a bummer though.

I'm glad your ds's recital went so well. How long has he been playing?

The weather here is on and off... one minute it looks like it's going to clear up and the next minute it looks like rain. It was sprinkling when I woke up this morning so... who knows what it's going to do. :) I've got to hurry out to Gertain's to get my flowers before it does decide to rain so, I guess I'd better get going. I hope you all have a GREAT day... tomorrow's Monday already. :(

It is so frustrating when your car goes out..feel so helpless! LOL

What a shame about the car. We always trade before our warranty is up so we've never had to worry about car repairs. Dh is not very mechanically inclined. :lol:
